    Took a tour up to the lodge in August to look around. Decided to check out the bakery and deli. Since we have some dietary restrictions we weren't expecting much except maybe a drink. Well...that was not be the case. :)

    Ended up meeting the owner. Very kind and very up to speed with lots of dietary issues. The staff were very friendly and gracious as well. They made my son feel like king for the day! Made him the best sandwich he's every had with fresh...yes I said fresh gluten free bread. Then for dessert the owner listened very intently...Read More

    My wife and I had the pleasure of trying out this beautiful lodge two years ago. Food, atmosphere, activities and the love of the Sound of Music were all great! When we had gone, they had just opened up their micro brewery. Fantastic beers! Bakery upstairs was first class with fresh croissants reminiscent of Paris. The only reason I've rated this a 4 instead of a 5 is due to price. In my opinion, prices are too high for value received.     The lodge is breathtaking, the staff is extremely friendly, the food is out of this world...I'm so glad I got to experience it for myself!

    well i worked there and the people were awesome kind and pleasant most of the time! beautiful scenery of the mountain! lots to do! and apart of history! one of my faves!

Thank you for the great experience. I would love to have the opportunity to go back to Stowe and stay at the Trapp Family Lodge.
