Where are we going today?

Howdy partners, it seems we are having a wild family day out back in the West - and it's at Trail Dust Town!

Y'all get excited, because history is waiting!

Trail Dust Town is an incredible living pioneer experience, filled with authentic buildings that make you feel like you really have stepped back in time. The atmosphere is great for a fun family day out, with great activities and adventures to be had!

Most of all, it's a place where you will create lots of memories, and a history of your own!

Let's start with what we know you want to hear about - the amusements! Both younger and older cowboys and cowgirls will love the rides and attractions all around Trail Dust Town. Have you ever tried gold panning? You can at Trail Dust Town!

Try your coordination at the interactive shooting gallery, or take a ride on the antique carousel. Don't miss the covered wagon themed Ferris Wheel either!

Take a trip to Polly Anna Park, or take a tour of the town on a very cool miniature train - choo choo - all aboard!

For those excitable kids, the stunt shows are great fun, having been entertaining families for over 17 years!

And of course, Trail Dust Town has a great historic and educational aspect. The Museum of the Horse Soldier features rare, one of a kind items, with over 2,000 objects on display!

Great fun for all, where history, fun, activities and family adventure all come together!

I absolutely love to take my family to Trail Dust Town. Its like a tiny amusement park with two very nice places to eat. I enjoy the stunt shows, the train and the overall atmosphere for my family in the evenings. It is definitely one of Tucson's best kept secrets on the East side.

If you haven't caught the fantastic rope, gun, and whip show featuring Loop Rawlins, you've missed a treat! Loop was with Cirque du Soleil and is at the top of his craft. He performs a couple of times a month free-of-charge in front of Pinnacle Peak. It's a Western treat for out-of-town guests as well as Tucsonans! The General Store is a fun place to shop and to see the owner's collection of toys and advertising memorabilia. It brings back good memories.

We enjoyed the skit and the little shops. Worth a try if you are visiting Tucson. We got there early before the first show and had to wait a while. The mini- golf is right next door and this is also fun.

The General Store has a lot of good items. Pinnacle Peak restaurant food is pretty good too. You can even find an old opium den on the side of one of the buildings. ;-)
