I absolutely love to take my family to Trail Dust Town. Its like a tiny amusement park with two very nice places to eat. I enjoy the stunt shows, the train and the overall atmosphere for my family in the evenings. It is definitely one of Tucson’s best kept secrets on the East side.

If you haven’t caught the fantastic rope, gun, and whip show featuring Loop Rawlins, you’ve missed a treat! Loop was with Cirque du Soleil and is at the top of his craft. He performs a couple of times a month free-of-charge in front of Pinnacle Peak. It’s a Western treat for out-of-town guests as well as Tucsonans! The General Store is a fun place to shop and to see the owner’s collection of toys and advertising memorabilia. It brings back good memories.

We enjoyed the skit and the little shops. Worth a try if you are visiting Tucson. We got there early before the first show and had to wait a while. The mini- golf is right next door and this is also fun.

The General Store has a lot of good items. Pinnacle Peak restaurant food is pretty good too. You can even find an old opium den on the side of one of the buildings. 😉
