Where are we going today?

We LOVE water parks here at Family Day Out, but we do love them even more when they are SO much more than just water fun!

Tomahawk Lake Waterpark is located on 200 amazing acres in New Jersey, and that's a lot of space to offer family fun!

Tomahawk Lake is more than just a water park - there is actually an 18 hole mini golf course, as well as shops, sporting fields and the state's LARGEST white sand beach with a 20 acre lake!

Then, of course, you have the water park itself. Are you excited to hear all about the slides you can enjoy? Great!

There are some pretty epic slides at Tomahawk Lake Waterpark, and you can tell they mean business by the names! Black Snake, Geronimo, and Apache Plunge are all waiting for those over 45"/48" to challenge themselves.

Don't worry if you prefer the softer water adventures, because there are plenty of fun water feature to play under, including a very popular giant mushroom!

It's the perfect way to make a SPLASH in New Jersey with the family!

With table tennis, scooter rides, horseshoes and arcades to round up the Tomahawk experience, you certainly won't be short of family adventures to enjoy. Those actives kids will love it too, because there is a way to use up all of that energy around every corner!

Great family fun in New Jersey! Let's make a SPLASH!

We read some of the reviews and had our expectations set accordingly. First, we went on a weekday. If you go on a weekend or holiday to any water park, it's going to be insane. Second, we only went for the water slides. I counted the admission fee and unlimited ride wristband as the cost which added up to $23 per person. That's on the high side, but I was OK with it. It is true that they hand you a list of 50 things you CAN NOT DO, which is ridiculous. The staff is definitely trained to enforce the rules, rather than provide friendly service....Read More

Dirty, Stinky, untrained staff and horrible managers. leeches in the water, snapping turtles on beach and shoreline water, security is a joke, rowedy people, alcohol everywhere, not family friendly. not even worth going to this place, i know people who went there and have gotten infections from the park. The health department and the state needs to make this place better it shut it down. ALSO there is a 25 not to do list when you enter the lake, so you cant even bring a radio to the beach.

    I hated this place...
To start the entrance fee is crazy... expensive as hell and once you pay the give you a CAN NOT DO LIST with over 40 things you can't do... second you gotta pay even to breath even after paying like $13 dollars entrance....staff isn't nice...
Water is nasty as hell and everything is a mess.
GO SOMEWHERE ELSE IS YOU WANT TO HAVE FUN... HERE YOU FEEL LIKE YOU AR A CHILD YOU CAN FEEL FREEDOM...

This was my first time at this lake and ONLY in NJ do they give you a list of DO NOT's and CANNOT's! I was very disappointed with the staff and the fact that you could not enjoy your time outdoors with family and friends without having the staff creep by making sure you followed all of the rules. I was shocked to see they did not add "DO NOT breathe" on the list of restrictions. I had a fun time with my friends and family because we can make it a fun time regardless of any situation, but I will NEVER go back and I will NEVER recommend this place...Read More

They could learn a bunch from Chik-Fil-A on how to treat people properly. I would recommend water shoes because you are walking on pavement (with small pebbles) to go on the slides. Hope this helps!
