Located approximately five miles south of DeSoto in Olathe, Kansas, TimberRidge Adventure Center encompasses over 200 acres of diverse landscapes divided by a series of ponds. The main venue is the Centers certified challenge and ropes course featuring 28 low elements, a 200-foot zip line and a climbing tower with 3 other high elements. With firsthand experience and group discussion, TimberRidge participants explore and create problem-solving methods that are readily adaptable to the challenges of day-to-day life.

In addition to the Challenge Course, TimberRidge offers other outdoor activities including hiking, fishing, archery, canoes, and paddleboats.

The climbing tower is only available from 9a-12pm and they need to preregister for it, be 12 years or older, and have a signed health and liability statement by their parent or guardian. The bb gun range and archery range are open to ages 8 and up and the boating is all ages for pedal boats with a parent/guardian, 8 and up with adult in the canoe with them and 12 and up to go in a kayak. These activities are available from 9am-3pm. All activities are free and open to the public that day on a first come first serve basis.
