The staff was the only thing nice about the hotel. Considering the cost of the room, it was small. Clean, but with outdated furniture and a bed that felt like it was plywood with maybe 4 inches of foam over it. The pillows were old, thin, and worn out. No oven, and only 2 frying pans in the kitchen, so limited options on ways to cook. Even the toaster was broke. The bathroom was nice and big, with a large whirlpool tub. I tried out the tub to relax one day, and a jet cover came out and hit me in the leg. I turned it off and popped it back...Read More

For the amount of money you spend here, it would be better to go down the street to the Grand. Spent July 7th through the 11th here with my family. Upon arrival, there was hair in one of the beds, the soap in the upstairs bathroom was half empty, and when we tried to use the Jacuzzi style tub, one of the jets broke, shooting out the plastic pieces along with tons of slimy hair and chunky black stuff. Don't put any of your items in the kitchen sink either; the cleaning ladies will put it in the dishwasher and start it. They did this to one of my...Read More

Our family went for a winter getaway and we had a great time! The water was warm and our toddler had a blast. We used the day care service "Kids are Grand" and went to the luxurious sauna and fitness facilities, and went on their cross country ski trails. We were there for three nights, and during the week there were very few families, but on Friday the place really filled up.

The facilities were very clean, the staff was friendly, and our room had a nice little fireplace that we could cozy up to and relax. Very family friendly.

No pressure on any of the other jets. Additionally, the park was small. 2 slides, a lazy river, and a couple hot tubs. The only plus was a special on beers. Only $4. Very disappointed.

Don't put any of your items in the kitchen sink either; the cleaning ladies will put it in the dishwasher and start it. They did this to one of my daughter's sippy cups and the lid wasn't put in the machine right, and wound up melting on the element. Not only did it ruin the cup, it smelled horrible. There were little items left in the room from the previous tenant (small toys etc), which tells me they dont clean very well. Oh, and the icing on the cake? They sent us an email the day we left, letting us know kids eat free at the restaurant there for the month of July.
