I do not know where the bare concrete cages , deplorable living conditions or mis treated animals are here ? Most of the animals roam freely in larger spaces than a zoo , except the babies that are being cared for in a nursery . I have spoken to some of the staff here and they love these animals Please remember , THIS IS NOT A ZOO , it is a for profit business . Carrots might cost four bucks but you get to hand feed a giraffe or camel , ( have you been licked by a Giraffe , I have )
A zoo wont let you get anywhere close to an animal...Read More

The park was completely overpriced. My kids were board after 5 minutes of being there. There was just a few animals and other then that a complete waste of money. You paid over $80 just to get in and then they wanted $10 a person to ride the train. They also had camel rides that was $7 a person. Don't waste your time or money on this place.

If you want to see animals wrongly and poorly mistreated then this is the place for you! Not only do the animals have physical lashings and burnings on them, their exhibits are concrete or wood chips with no vegetation or trees and not nearly large enough for the multiple animals shoved in them. Hard to enjoy the zoo when all you can see is the terrible living conditions and maltreatment these animals are exposed to. If you actually want to go to a zoo and see animals being taken care of properly and thriving ,I highly recommend the Madison public...Read More

This place is great! Definitely one of our favorite Dells destinations. Name another Zoo in North america where you can pet a kangaroo, Giraffe, porcupine, possum, Great Horned owl, and bottle feed a baby tiger!? My daughter loves this place and you can tell the staff genuinely enjoys their jobs. Mark the owner is a real good guy and also cares alot about the animals and raises most of them. The place is still under construction to some extent but has definitely come a LONG way in the last year. Keep it up this place is awesome!

Absolute travesty of a zoo. How does a place like this even exist in a first world country? Maybe if it was a really old zoo which hadn't caught up, but a brand new zoo? Just disgusting. Animal Abuse! All these my kid got to pet a tiger yay comments are horrifying, theres reasons real zoo don't let you touch their animals. Bare, concrete cages for every animal there. Don't go here its plain animal abuse for profit.

I'm begging you, please stop giving your money to this terrible place that doesn't know the first thing about running a zoo let alone taking care of it's animals.
