Where are we going today?

We know those Texas summers can get hot, so why spend it indoors when Texas's second largest water park!

The Waterpark At The Villages has SUPER fun and cool activities for those younger kids right through to those young at heart grown-ups.  Spend an hour or two rolling down the lazy river on your very own tube, and even take on their whirlpool!

That's not all! There are two double tube slides so you can race your friends, or get on the two body slides which are super fun bright colors.

The Forest Ranger children's playscape is great for those little kids who can explore the life-size resin figures of amazing animals like moose and bears, and fun leafy trees.

The gentle wave pool is great for those little ones to bob about in, and perfect for adults to join them.

Don't feel like swimming? Then just relax on the lounge chairs and seating areas which have comfy chairs and tables. Sit back and watch the fun!

The Waterpark At The Villages is set on nearly 3,000 acres of piney woods, on the beautiful Lake Palestine.  Make sure you allow for a few hours to enjoy nearly 25,000 square feet of water fun! The center is climate controlled so you don't need to worry about those bad weather days, and when you want to enjoy summer they have a retractable roof so you can still bask in the sun!

Is your family ready to take on this VERY large Waterpark At The Villages? Suit up kids, it’s swimming times!

Small waterpark for the high price. My under 42 inches child who has been swimming for over a year was required to wear a life jacket and was not allowed to ride the body slides even though they are harmless. There are plenty of lifeguards for the size of park that it is. The wave pool was tiny and the lazy river is more like a creek. Now, I will admit that I did go to Great Wolf Lodge's waterpark first, and I might have been spoiled with the size and allowances that they give to kids under 42 inches. The staff at the Villages waterpark did...Read More

This place is not worth my trip! It was recommended by a friend and from the very description I already had my doubts. If it wasn't for my 7 yr. old boy, I wouldn't waste time coming here. It was like a community pool cramped with a double slide and some. I wonder why it was even opened to the public when it was supposed to be just for people who have "shares" in its company. I also noticed that some people are kinda rude. Attendants from the ticket window to some of the food assemblers and a fat cashier tend to be irritated when accommodating customers....Read More

WOW! I'm absolutely stunned at the reviews. My family and I stayed at the villages for spring break for a week and went to the water park twice. About the price, the members price is not that bad- not to mention as a member you have countless opportunities to go for FREE- there were 5 people in my party and we only paid for one ticket the whole time. It was hard to find a place to sit BUT it was also spring break, I would imagine any attraction with water during a peak time like that would be that way, if you're out with your kids playing.... you...Read More

The staff at the Villages waterpark did not go out of their way to please their guests like they do at the resort itself. We had planned on spending all day at the waterpark and struggled to stretch it past 4 PM (luckily the Cowboys game was on in the eating area outside the waterpark). I will make no plans to return.

And boy, lifeguards are a joke! As if the place was like Hurricane Harbor or something! I counted 9 manning the lazy river and the double slide alone! Not to count those posted on the play area and the tinny-winnie wave pool! Changing rooms are so small. 2 cubicles, 2 urinals and 2 shower area. Will not accommodate 10 people at a time! Last words--- don't waste gas and time driving and coming here. You will be DISAPPOINTED! Unless you live in the Tyler area. And rude residents, too! Driving and speeding, tail-gating you while you are driving along within the speed limit and its a two-lane with a double-yellow line. Schmucks!

It was hard to find a place to sit BUT it was also spring break, I would imagine any attraction with water during a peak time like that would be that way, if you're out with your kids playing.... you would just need somewhere to put your stuff which is what we did and they do have lockers for that. It does look a little bigger in the pics but the camera adds 10 lbs right? The jungle gym part was AWESOME, my 5 year old spent most of his time there and had an amazing time. My favorite part about it was that out of the 7 total slides there, my son could ride all except for 2. He's at the age where the height requirement is always hard to meet so it was nice that we didn't have to say "you're not big enough for that" all day. All in all, the water park at the villages was GREAT, I would highly recommend it. The kids with have a great time, which is what its there for. If you want something for the parents too, go to a different one like schlitterbahn. (I will say though, my husband, 18 year old brother and I ran around and did everything with my 5 year old. It brings out the kid in ya!)
