Where are we going today?

The Serpentarium is a privately owned 3,000 square foot, 2-story Museum and Reptile Store. Established in 1989, The Serpentarium has long been considered as, "Lodi's Best Kept Secret." Offering one of the largest displays of reptiles in the country, our exhibits include spectacular animals such as False Water Cobras, Burmese Pythons, Rainbow Boas, Anacondas, large Monitor lizards, Turtles and Tortoises, Geckos, Frogs and so much more!

We offer Guided Tours, School Field Trips, Birthday Parties and have MANY reptiles available for sale. We breed 50+ different species of snakes at our facility and produce over 2,000 snakes each year, selling to other museums, zoos and stores as well as to the general public.

In addition to reptiles, we also have one of the largest selections of invertebrates; from Tarantulas, to Scorpions, Centipedes, Millipedes, Cockroaches and more!

Disagree with all the negative feedback, I come all the way from Minnesota to buy may Panther Chameleons from these guys. They have the best staff and any supplements needed to properly care for your pets. Love these guys, buy the way, its a donation to help care and feed the reptiles.

This isn't your average "pet" store -- not even close -- and the admission price is worth it. It's a veritable zoo of exotic creatures. Creepy crawlies of every ilk, tarantulas living in silken bedrooms, adorable baby bearded dragons cavorting on branches, a slithering variety of snakes, huge lizards "monitoring" your every move. Check out the colorful chameleons, including friendly Duke, a blue-green panther, who'll gently cling to your hands. You don't find "guided tours" in regular pet stores, yet you can easily spend 45 minutes perusing all...Read More

I went to this store for the first time about a month ago. I've been working with reptiles for a few years now. The price for entry was $2 per person. If anything was purchased, The $2 entry free could be used toward the product. In my case i did not purchase an animal but it also could go toward cage accessories which i did use. To me the staff was more interested in making a profit than caring for the animals properly. There were 4 Gargoyle Geckos about a month old being housed together (not recommended for Gargoyles) along with an adult...Read More

Amazing place and extremely knowledgeable staff.

To me the staff was more interested in making a profit than caring for the animals properly. There were 4 Gargoyle Geckos about a month old being housed together (not recommended for Gargoyles) along with an adult Day gecko (absolutely not recommended). Each of the Gargoyles was missing its tail. I asked each of the staff what they were being feed, each member had a different answer... They also told me when i asked to handle one of the animals that they don't allow customers to hold the animals, but that they are 110% hand able. I personally would not buy from this store. GBU Enterprises, also in Lodi was an excellent store. Go there if looking for a great selection of reptiles and birds with great staff.
