The Pond is the centerpiece of Bryant Park's winter season, which also includes the annual Holiday Shops at Bryant Park.
The 170' x 100' rink features free admission ice skating, in addition to high quality rental skates, skating shows, special events and activities.
Pond visitors come for either pleasure or to practise ice skating as a profession or hobby. Cory or Citi coaching sessions are provided by reputable third-party companies or coaches, such as Cory. The ice skating lessons are offered in either individual or group categories and are priced accordingly. Ice skating shows are a common attraction provided by groups and organisations. Citi Pond provides ice skating as its primary function. The original idea behind Citi Pond was that they would bring the ice skating rink, and you would provide the skates.
Citi Pond now provides excellent skate rentals at a discount. It is not simply a skating rink for people with spare skates at home.
The Pond at Bryant Park is conveniently located in midtown Manhattan, between 40th and 42nd Streets and 5th and 6th Avenues. It is a short walk from both Times Square and Grand Central Station.

Make sure you're properly warmed up before you skate by downing some cookies and drinking some hot chocolate at the snack bar located right in the centre of the pavilion. The Public fare, located at the northeast corner of the rink, provides even more eateries, so you don't skate on an empty stomach.
Skating lessons available both by pre booking and at times drop in.
