I wasn't sure how happy I was about sauntering through outdoor exhibits in January. But then I met Juno the beluga, and I was never the same. He was nuzzling a five-year-old against the glass! And grinning! And doing it again! Then he came over and made out with me against the glass*! I really don't think I'll ever be the same.

Granted, even as I grow old and wizened and miserly, I'm always ready to be instantly charmed by even pedestrian aquarium exhibits. I dig a little childlike wonder to break up the quotidian.

Had a fantastic time with the family and the facility was extremely clean with a friendly helpful staff. 5 Stars all the way, and we will be going back for sure in a few months as Layla is still raving about it ;) Great hands on stuff for 3 years and up I would say. It's located in a restored older building which just adds to the great atmosphere the place already has. Really well done guys and thank you for having such a place for us to learn and play with the family :)

I went with my family in December, 2013. The tickets were kind of expensive but that didn't affect my experience. The aquarium has nice exhibits for little kids and adults

Great location for kids birthday party. Camp up from Greenwich on 95 hit a bit of traffic but made it. Once here parking is a cross the street from here but is u keep driving west along the river you will find a park and there is meterd parking also. As of today there is no need to feed the meters on Sunday.

I hadn't been to the Maritime Aquarium in years, but went over the weekend with my little one. The new Lorikeets exhibit is a must see. We had a great time!

The sea lion show was great, if a little slow-paced--they performed a scene from The Cherry Orchard.*

Those badass hot pink tangles were jellyfish, the logs of mouth-breathing lumps were the moray eels, and the harmless-looking bores were the piranhas. My God, how I love them all.
