The Johnstown Children's Museum is located on the third floor of the Heritage Discovery Center, and is a super fun place for kids to learn through play!

Those little creative minds will spend their day making their way around the various exhibits, each of which is designed to really allow them to express themselves, create, imagine and of course, learn.

The exhibits, which cover a range of themes including geography, culture, and history, will really keep them captivated!

The Johnstown Timewarp is a great introduction to all who visit on the themes of the museum. Those local to the museum will recognize a landmark or two from the city's past and present! How many can you recognize? 

If there are budding construction workers or builders in the family, then Blocks Area might just be for them! Fun free play with blocks and other wooden toys will give them a chance to create!

Splash! We must be in the Water Room! One of the most popular exhibits within Johnstown Children's Museum, this allows kids to play with water, while learning about concepts such as plumbing, the mountains and the rain, dam-building and native fish. 

If it's sunny, head outside! The Overlook Garden is a super fun area on the rooftop where the whole family can experience native plants of Pennsylvania. What plants love shade? What plants like full sun? How can you measure rain water? It's all answered here!

From dress ups, slippery slides, historical exhibits of the city, and even a steel mill, there is always something to entertain those little ones for the day!
