Where are we going today?

The Cohanzick Zoo, established in 1934, is New Jerseys First Zoo. Located in the beautiful Bridgeton City Park, this little zoo is set on 15 acres and is home to approximately 100 animals. Admission is free!

    My children and I visit the zoo throughout the year. It is a pleasant suprise and parking and crowds are never an issue. Our children have hosted birthday parties, we've gone to Zoo camp, storytime, Boo at the Zoo and the Festival of Lights at Christmastime (ever had a train ride throughout!). Such a quiant zoo with plenty of animals, the rare magnicifient white tiger, bear, cougars, friendly gibbon and varieties of other monkeys & wildcats, etc. We even have picnic lunches there and make an afternoon out of it. My children and I visit the zoo throughout the year. It is a pleasant suprise and parking and crowds are never an issue. Our children have hosted birthday parties, we've gone to Zoo camp, storytime, Boo at the Zoo and the Festival of Lights at Christmastime (ever had a train ride throughout!). Such a quiant zoo with plenty of animals, the rare magnicifient white tiger, bear, cougars, friendly gibbon and varieties of other monkeys & wildcats, etc. We even have picnic lunches there and make an afternoon out of it. No charge, however donation boxes are onsite. Free parking.
