Where are we going today?
Kids, that Alabama sun can get pretty hot, so what you need is a place where you can make a SPLASH and get a little cool!
Spring Valley Beach is where families can go to enjoy water park fun, challenge themselves on extreme rides, and just relax soaking it all in!
Love slides? Well then, you're in luck! There's 360 Rush, where two riders can launch at the same time, sending you down 58ft of tubes at speeds of 30mph - you know you want to!
Then there's the Sidewinder, which is the ultimate for thrill seekers at 4 stories high! slide in complete darkness with Black Out, or grab a mat and hang on tight as the whole family can enjoy the Need For Speed!
But don't worry if those extreme thrills are a bit too thrilling, because Spring Valley Beach also have great fun for those younger kids, or those who just want to enjoy it on a more gentle level!
The Kid Zone is a favorite for those little water babies who want smaller thrills, so it's the perfect place for the little ones and parents, with fun water play activities - and a giant starfish!
Here's a fun fact - did you know that Spring Valley Beach is the LARGEST pool in the entire Southeast? This makes it one of the most unique water parks in the entire USA, and with 2 acres of water, you certainly will get a lot of room to practice those laps!
So kids, are you ready to explore two acres of water fun - and that's just the tp of the iceberg!
So let's go make that SPLASH!
How much does it cost?
- Adults$23.15 + tax
- Children$18.52 + tax
- Free Under: 2 years with paid adult
When can we go?
10am - 6pm
Late May to early September
They do offer group rates but you have to book ahead to receive it! It's a great option for students instead of a sports day in the school grounds!.
There is a concession stand with nachos, burgers, hot dogs, pizza, fries, and even dancy!.
You can bring your own food and enjoy a picnic if you like! You can even bring picnic blankets and grills. No alcohol permitted. Make sure yo bring plenty of bottled water so you can stay hydrated!.
Any Top Tips?
Why not have a birthday party at the pool! It's a super fun way for kids to celebrate that special day with friends!.
Doing our bit
They love to look after you, so suntan lotion is available FREE of charge at the concession stand!.
Need a little extra help?
Speak to staff if you have any questions about accessibility in the park!.
General admission parking lot is free, but the pool parking area is $10 for a day per vehicle .

We LOVED our day at Spring Valley Beach this week. What a WONDERFUL place to spend the day! We were a group of friends/moms from church in Birmingham and we brought all of our 20 kids (ages 3-13) to Spring Valley Beach for the day. There is definitely something for everyone in any age group. We rented a pavillion, brought our lunch and made a day of it. BEST DAY OF THE SUMMER......and you simply cannot beat the price for what you get. Facilities & grounds were clean, rides and pools were fun and the management very friendly. HIGHLY recommend!!!...Read More

Last weekend was our first visit.....and we loved it. Felt completely safe and had a wonderful time. Everyone, even the other visitors, was friendly and there to just have a good time. Love that we can bring our own food in....makes it sooo much more affordable for those on a budget. For a cheap price, you can an entire day of fun at a limited expense. We were able to bring our tent in and set up camp for the day! Lifeguards were VERY observant of what was going on around them. Thanks!

We love to go to Spring Valley Beach. We try to go at least one time each summer. It is a great place for us and our children. There is something for even our littlest one to do and our oldest loves it all. I love being able to bring my own picnic lunch so that we don't have to buy food (even though we usually buy some snacks it doesn't cost as much if we don't have to buy lunch and snacks too.) If you get a chance to visit I highly recommend that you take your family for a day of fun.

We LOVE Spring Valley Beach!! We can take a picnic lunch and don't have to worry about buying anything while in the park (although we do splurge on an afternoon sno cone). It is great for my 3-year-old an my 7-year-old. We have a great time every time we go. We have never been disappointed:)

I have seen other comments about the prices being too high.....that is just silly. You simply cannot beat the price for all of the activities, rides, cleanliness and fun that you can have for a whole day. We WILL be back!
