Where are we going today?
Kids, this zoo has some of the sweetest animals you might ever meet!
The beautifully striped tigers, the king of the jungle lions, black and white stripy zebras, the adorable looking humped camels (do you know the difference between camels with one humps or two?), the shiny black bears, sweet little otters and adorable Grizzly bears are all waiting to meet you!
Every animals is loved, and cared for, and you can tell. So you will really know that these animals are happy in their new homes.
For those kids who just love getting up close and friendly with the animals, there is even a cute little petting zoo where you can pat, feed and play with them! Can you imagine what it would be like living and working on a farm? These guys could be your pets!
The zoo isn't all about animals. You can take a fun train ride through the Badgerland trails to learn all about the native Wisconsin animals. Zoos are a great place to learn about the animals, their habits and their environments.
If you want to have a lovely break and enjoy some food, bring a picnic! Take your time and make the most of the day.
For those wanting to bring groups of 20 or more, you can ask them about their field trip packages, and also rent out their lovely outdoor pavilion!
Jericho the Giraffe and Onyx the Black Leopard are waiting for you!

Doing our bit
During winter, the animals are all moved into their homestead where the ones that need heat live in an insulated shed, the hoof animals go in the barn, and the ones too large to move (like the lions and tigers) stay at the zoo, but checked daily. So they are well looked after!.

My daughter loved this zoo! It is the closest I've ever been to a caged lion and tiger. Very close and personal interaction with the animals and the petting area was very fun. Chickens and pigs running around with goats and ducks, what more could you ask for? We plan on visiting again this year and are looking forward to it!
