Have been in Huntsville 3 years and didn't know this water park/amusement park was here. Smallish, but the water park is so fun. 4 slides wind down from about 4 stories up. My 3 -1/2 year-old could go down the slides at a leisurely and safe speed that was still VERY fun for him. I, on the other hand ... I didn't know until the lifeguard explained ... bigger people go faster ... whew! Almost gave myself a coronary it was so fast. Not for the faint of heart.

I can't believe how neglected and outdated it is. Not a very welcoming atmosphere either.

The lifeguards were very helpful and kept a good eye-out and thankfully most of the kids there were maybe 8 and under -- I find that things gets unsafe fast when there are too many teens around, and there weren't many (any?) there.

There are picnic tables and a concession stand. The grounds are well-maintained and clean. It was a very pleasant way to spend the afternoon.

The only minus might be that the entrance is through the arcade area, and that doesn't make a great first impression - a little seedy - but keep going through to the water park, and i think you won't be disappointed.

We will go back another day to try the mini-roller coaster and go-kart course.
