Where are we going today?

Come on, get your skates on! No, we don't mean hurry up. We mean - litereally get your skates on. Roller skates that is....!

Skate Cty Westminster is a great family friendly skating rink, that is also nicely indoors which means rain, hail, or shine you can head down to enjoy some time in the rink.

Skate City really is for the whole family. They have Thursday morning Pixie Classes for those little skaters aged 2 to 6 who want to give it a try. They even have fun classes like Pixie Class Crazy Hair Day! What do you think you might change your hair into for your skating fun!?

Friday nights are for those teenagers who want to get out all that extra energy after a long hard week at school (finishing ALL your homework deserves a treat, don't you think!?)

They have public skating sessions in blocks of two hours on weekends, and Sunday nights are Family nights with...wait for it...FREE pizza! We love that!

Skate City Westminster really is for everyone, AND the whole family!

Skating is great for everyone, whether novice or expert. If you have never skated before don't you worry, because there are always friendly staff there who are willing to help (and remmeber other kids will be just as inexperiened as you!), or you can join some of their beginner classes to give you the basic moves before you show them off to your friends.

If you know the basics you can join their intermediate classes, or if you are super confident, those over 7 can take on the challenging speed skating classes. Start your Saturday mornings off with some speedy skating fun!

If you really just fall in love with skating, you can join in their leagues (they have leagues for 8 and under, 12 and under and 16 and under).

So one more time - let's get your skates on!

Had my grandsons birthday party here. They did not allow us ample time to personalize the party, they began late but did not add additional time to the skate time, we were VERY rushed during the party, they booked way too many birthday parties for the day to where the party floor was so crowded navigation to the skate floor was almost impossible. When we needed items for the party (pizza, soda, napkins or plates) it took over 5 mins for items to be delivered to your table which took away skate or party time. We will NEVER have a party here again....Read More

It's ok..It's not like there's much choice as far as choosing a different skating rink since it's the only one close around here. However, it's dirty. The carpet has food all over the floor & the white brick half walls surrounding the food court have mysterious dried condiments on them-yuck! They could definitely use a deep clean.

We will NEVER have a party here again. We will use the Wagon Wheel in Brighton. They give you 3 hours vs 2 for the entire event. Thus you could use 1 hour for the party and 2 to skate. The children at skate city barley had 45 mins to skate.
