Have you ever heard someone in a rush tell you to get your skates on? Now you can say - OK!
Skate City is a super fun indoor skating rink where you can burn all that energy, have fun, enjoy time with your family and friends and stay healthy and active!
Get your heart pumping and feet moving to really cool tunes! There are public session times, as well as age specific sessions.
Sundays until 8pm are family skate times (with 2 hour sessions from 12pm) so get the whole family down! Don't worry if you have never skated before. It can be nerve wracking but there will be a host of other kids just like you, and there is always that trusty railing to hold onto!
For those really little skaters aged 2 - 6, you get your own session! Pixie Class is Thursday mornings and perfect for you to skate with only kids your age, so you won't feel intimidated by older kids whizzing around the rink past you. A great opportunity for them to learn the basics and build confidence on the rink.
Adults, you ever get your own sessions Sunday nights!
Beginners, if you want to join a class to learn the basic techniques and gain confidence on your feet before joining the public sessions, you can enjoy their Saturday morning classes (5 consecutive) so you can then take your family afterwards to show off all your skills!
If you have mastered the art of skating and want to try something new, they now have speed skating classes! These are perfect for those 8 years old and already established skaters.
What are you waiting for, get those skates on!`

Just had my daughter's birthday party there (with about 20 kids), and it was a great experience! We all had a great time. The staff was excellent and a pleasure to deal with. They definitely know how to handle kids birthday parties. We will be going back soon, I am sure of it. Thanks!

This place brings back so many memories when I was a kid. So glad they haven't changed the decor. It's like time stood still in the early 60's! It's perfect for the little ones (I can't speak for adults since I act like a child and adults generally are jerks and way too critical) and that's why I'm speaking for all children. They love it here. Every child has a huge smile on their face. The only reason a child is crying is because they have either fallen down and received a boo boo, or they have to go home! The staff is nice, and the skates are all pretty new. The floor is in decent condition and they keep the place clean. The have training aids for young skaters that are just perfect for learning. Great place for family fun!

This is a great place to leave your kids while shopping or to get them out of the house. Unfortunately, they raised their price to $5.00 for two hours. That's a 40% hike over the $3.50 previous price. I can't afford to go very often now.

Prices are as cheap as they were back then. They could charge $20.00 per hour and it would still be worth it. I can't imagine what their utility bill is every month; at least $4000.00 and yet the prices are still low.
The reason why I couldn't give them 5 stars, is because I still hate places that charge non-nonrefundable deposits for birthday parties, and they only give you one or two hours and then you have to leave. I don't see any difference between a birthday or public skating. If there are 300 kids on the floor, what's the difference if they're with a birthday or their having fun with friends? So time limits are a nuisance and just don't make any sense. There is plenty of room for "skaters!" Most parties probably leave after an hour or two anyway. But our kids like to stay for another hour or two after the party usually leaves! This place is also locally owned so always patronize these companies. And by the way - reviewers: stop complaining about teenagers. Yes -they aren't always smiling. This place is LOUD! It s great thing that at least teenagers like working there, because no adult would ever do it; even if they came from another country. Stop complaining; start looking for positive things in a business, because there are thousands of positive things a local business does for our community. Be thankful and stop complaining. Did I mention to STOP COMPLAINING??? YES I DID!
