Rides galore for the whole family at Six Flags Over Georgia! With thrill rides, family rides, and those rides specially for those little kids, there really is something for everyone at this super fun amusement park in the Georgia Peach!

Now, we know you are itching to hear all about those thrill rides, so let's just dive right in! Can you imaging spending your day free falling from 200 feet, or how about taking on the relentless loops and twists over those very dark streets of Gotham?

Can you imagine a vertical free fall after being lifted up 95 feet? How about we told you that you could take on drops and inversions 11 stories high! Needless to say we haven't even scratched the surface, and you will find PLENTY of attractions to keep you adrenaline pumping!

But, we did say there were family and kiddie rides, so the whole family can enjoy Six Flags Over Georgia! You can take a relaxing drive through the hills and countryside in a century old inspired motor car, or pilots in training can get their wings on the Little Aviator. With log flumes, railways, and a magical world of monstrous imagination, no matter what age, the kids will have a great time!

Think it's all about staying dry? Think again! With Hurricane Harbor and Paradise Island, as well as super fun rides like Splashwater Falls and Thunder River (where the whole family can ride together!) there are plenty of splashes to be had in the hot Georgia sun!

Let me start by saying I never write reviews....but consumers need to be aware of this place! This was by far the most disappointing amusement park I have ever been to. Every aspect of this park was a joke from the rides, customer service, bathroom facilities, park appearance and food options /prices...everything.The roller coasters and park absolutely look horrible... In need of some paint and upkeep!!! The enjoyment of the rides themselves was also terrible. I should have known when you drive up to the park and it looks ghetto it probably isn't...Read More

There are some really good rides here. Just like most popular theme parks the lines can be extremely long but that should be expected in this type of place. I wish they would get rid of the Ninja roller coaster and replace it with something more modern. My neck cant take all the whiplash that ride gives.

I waited over 25 years to go to six flags. Very disappointing. A bunch of the rides were out of order. Many of the rides are in bad need of some paint. The prices for everything from water to food are higher than Disney or Busch Gardens. Almost all of the food is nothing more than fast food. The new water park is pretty cool. Needs some cool deck not concrete for steps. Very hot and uncomfortable on our feet.
The few roller coasters and rides we were able to ride was pretty good. By far Busch Gardens of Tampa is a better park.

We love going to Six Flags, riding the rides and experiencing the park. We won't be back though until they can fix the "getting into the park" issues. We arrived at the I-20 exit at 10:25 AM Sunday and finally made it through the entrance gate at 12:22 PM - and we already had our tickets! Over an hour of that was getting to a parking spot but the worst was the 45-50 minutes we stood in a mass crowd packed like sardines to funnel into 3-4 small metal detectors/ ticket scanners. No lines, no logic, no movement in 90+ degree temperatures. It really...Read More

My husband and I went to Six Flags Over Ga thinking it would be a fun adventure for our honeymoon.... not so much. Now, I can't complain too much because we had free entry, Six Flags was promoting/thanking active duty military for the weekend. However, I will say that I have been to other Six Flag theme parks and this was absolutely the worst one. All of the lines for rides were minimum 2 hour wait. We went a little above and bought sports bottles so that we could enjoy free refills all day, in every other park I have been to these bottles cover...Read More

In need of some paint and upkeep!!! The enjoyment of the rides themselves was also terrible. I should have known when you drive up to the park and it looks ghetto it probably isn't going to get better inside...and unfortunately I was right. But when your children are in the back seat of the car excited to go in when they see it and they where patient during a 13 hour car ride to get there... You kinda have to go in. It' s pretty sad when a fair share of the rides at a major theme park compare to what you would find at a local church festival, especially the rides for children!!! I been around the country to various theme parks and this is the first Six Flags brand park I have ever experienced...and it will be my last. I refuse to give what little hard earned money I have to such a sub par product. However, I was warned not to go by a person I met in passing at a hotel few weeks earlier, but by that time the vacation was already planned. Six Flags over Georgia... You should be ashamed!!!!!!! Consumers take your money elsewhere!!!!!

We went a little above and bought sports bottles so that we could enjoy free refills all day, in every other park I have been to these bottles cover all drinks. So I waited in line at the iced lemonade stand for ten minutes just to get a snotty remark that she didn't fill those there. All of the stands started to close down around 5pm and it was impossible to find a food line that was less than a 10 minute wait.
Overall we were just disappointed, it took all day just to ride two rollercoasters and eat a pre-heated lunch.
