Seneca Park Zoo is nestled within 15+ acres along the Genesee River. Here, you can take a stroll along their tree-lined pathways, and enjoy a park like experience, but with one difference. Yes, animals!
Throughout the zoo you can come face to face with animals from ALL over the world. Kids can meet those grand African lions, exotic Amur tigers, and playful sea lions.
From the tall giraffes, the tiny hedgehogs, and the rare and endangered white rhino, your entire day is one WILD learning experience for the kids!
It's not just the mammals that you can meet at your day at Seneca Park Zoo. Those favorite reptiles are ready to meet you, including pythons, lizards, geckos, and even a boa constrictor!
From scales to wings, the zoo is also home to number of beautiful, unusual and colorful birds, including the iconic Bald Eagle, adorable penguins, humorous emus, an intimidating vultures.
Not only is the zoo a fun place to meet animals, and also a great place to learn about them too, but you can also enjoy fun events held throughout the year!

Seneca Park Zoo is a conservation organization accredited by the Association of Zoos and Aquariums. Conservation work happens at the Zoo on a daily basis, and they also partner with other conservation organizations internationally.
Strollers can be rented in the Zoo shop for a small fee
You won't go hungry at this popular zoo! Eagles Landing Cafe and Crater Canteen offer a range of food items between them, including burgers, pizza, sides, chicken tenders, hot dogs, paninis & more!
Keep an eye on the fun events they host across the year, including ZooBoo Halloween fun, breakfast with Santa, ZooBrew in summer and 5K runs!
Located on Zoo grounds, the ZooShop offers unique gifts that are perfect for any occasion. You will find animal figurines, books, plush animals, toys, adult and children apparel, ties and more.
Whether you’re a preschooler just starting your exploration of the natural world or a senior looking for deep new adventures, the Zoo’s very broad range of hands-on and minds-on programs provide engaging and educational experiences with live animals.
All programs are designed to help you develop the motivation and skills to act as stewards of the environment and become aware of conservation issues through explorations of animal behaviors, biological systems, species diversity and inter-connectedness.
They can also bring the zoo to YOU!

They strive to make the zoo accessible to all visitors, with parking, handi-cart transportation, wheelchairs available to borrow & more! Guests with service animals must notify staff at the Front Gate before entering the Zoo.
