Where are we going today?

Santa's Village Azoosement Park is...can you guess?  Three amusement parks in one - and a zoo!  Get it?  A - ZOO - sement?  Clever!

The park is loaded with rides for the whole family to enjoy, as well as a super cute petting zoo and educational and fun shows which feature the animals!

Some of the rides have height requirements, so just check those before you queue, but there are rides for everyone!

Land Ho!  The Viking Sea Dragon has been unleashed in this swinging pendulum ship.  How many times do you think you can ride it before you are brave enough to stick those hands in the air on the way down!?

For something slightly slower, the Country Carousel is completely restored to give you that old fashioned park entertainment.

For those tiny tykes under 54", don your sea hats Captain because the boat rides let you captain your own boards, or the Kiddieland Midge-O-Racers will give them a bit of adrenaline and excitement!

For those adrenaline junkies you can try and take on the rrrooooar Wildcat Roller Coaster - get those hands in the air as you twist, turn and plunge through the tree tops!

For those animals lovers, or those wanting to give their tummies a rest from all the rides, the park has over 200 animals to enjoy and learn about!  Get a glimpse of Santa's very own reindeer, or try and guess the ages of the Tortoises making their way across their own island. There are ponies to ride, bunnies to enjoy, and a barn just like Old MacDonald had with all his famous friends!  For those slightly braver kids there is the Scales & Tails exhibition where you can enjoy the more slippery animals in the park.....

The park also have three live shows a day, so make sure you check them out when you arrive and pick a time that suits you.  They are not only entertaining, but educational!

It's azoomazing!  No...doesn't work?

The kids had fun which was the whole goal but the pricing is expensive so to make it worth it plan on going early and getting the most out of the experience you can. You can pack a lunch/snacks so that will help keep the costs down. The rides are good for the kids but I felt bad for the animals being cooped up all day/night out of their natural habitat. In the reptile house the young alligator has his mouth taped shut ALL DAY just so people can hold it to take pictures. We brought our two granddaughters to Santa's Village today. I haven't been there in years. It totally reminded me of what it used to be 30 something years ago. The rides were perfect for their ages (4 and 2) It was clean and fun. Thanks to whoever restored it we had a blast and will be going back! As for the previous reviewers= What do you expect it's a small amusement park for young kids. Sorry you had to wait in line. Typical (I want it now).

I also was there on May 18th. The staffing was a disaster. I also agree with the previous reviewer. The park was very understaffed. The food places had lines out the door, and they moved very, very slow. Three times, three different ride operators let us in the ride, only to have to drag my child out because the operator miscounted and wait until the next one, which is no fun as a parent of a 2 year old. To be somewhat fair, there is a Groupon that is valid in May and that's why I think there were so, so many people there. It also took 30 minutes...Read More

Back in the Day There was a front lot and back lot. The rides had working lights and beepers and not holes were things use to be. With a little TLC you could make things look better for the Price. $20. and only half the park. The best part was meeting Santa. I brought 8 children. They liked it but they would like going to the playground to get out of the back yard or out of the house. Really fix this place up. I have memories and this was a waste of money

To be somewhat fair, there is a Groupon that is valid in May and that's why I think there were so, so many people there. It also took 30 minutes to even get through the line to get in the park. I have been there numerous times before and never have experienced any of this. Even though I had a Groupon myself, next time I would just spend the extra money or go in the Fall. Management knows how many Groupons are sold. They should calculate the average per day of attendance and staff accordingly.
