About this activity

Who wants to spend the day using their imagination? We certainly do, and so do Sandcastles Children's Museum in Michigan, because that's exactly what they want kids to do every time they visit!

Sandcastles Children's Museum is all about encouraging and inspiring children to explore their own world. They are filled with hands-on discovery, whilst at the same time encouraging creativity, curiosity, and help kids love learning.

Each of the exhibits at the museum are specifically designed to help kids develop in a certain way - and it's always fun! Kids can visit The Neighbourhood where they can visit the grocery store, or perhaps pick up some ice cream at the shop! There is a post office, and even a pizza place, all waiting for their imagination to run wild!

Grandpa's Farm features a large barn, and even chickens, eggs, and a milkable cow! Maybe kids prefer to slide on that Captains hat, and drive a car off an onto your very own ship. There is even a sailboat right next door!

Their big interactive Michigan Treehouse and the Vet Center are popular, too! They have a great new stage and some new sound effects. The Pere Marquette Water Table and the bubble table are fantastic fun for the smaller ones and there is a cozy reading nook for quiet time too.

Plus bouldering wall, fish tank, and construction zone: so plan for a full day out!

Great family fun for all, and kids can be whoever they want to be, in a safe and fun environment.

Let's get those imaginations running!
