Located in Balboa Park. This place is awesome!
So many pretty flowers and plants to see. I loved it! My favorite was probably the orchids. There were so many! and they were all gorgeous!
The outdoor koi and lily pond is beautiful too!
Come during the Spring/Summer!
Best part is it's absolutely FREE.
Parking was a breeze as well.

One of san diego's best points of interest in my opinion. Very beautifully laid out, a phenomenal array of plants and animals for photography, educating yourself or just to take in. It also seems to offer a completely diffferent experience depending on the time of year that you visit so there is reason to visit frequently. I would be interested in taking a guided tour of the highlights flora. There are also some of the better street performers in this area which adds to the artistic element that surrounds balboa park.

Its a botanically enriching experience. They have a vast collection of some rare species like pitcher plants and some very beautiful orchids. And not to forget the serene lily pond right in the front of this building
