Where are we going today?

Where to begin!  What's great about Sahara Sam's Oasis Indoor Water Park is that it's an all year round water park - not one only open in summer so in those winter months when you feel like having a splash about, you don't know where to go! (Although if you have a look on Family Days Out you'll find some!)

First, let's start with the indoor park!

For those very adventurous water babies you can take on the NileMile!  This snakes along the exterior facade of Sahara Sam's and reemerges inside the building!  It's also their fastest slid e- you've been warned!

For those over 42" you can have a go at body boarding on New Jersey's ONLY indoor surf simulator!  Cowabunga dude!

There are crazy tube slides that go outside the building, or Mount Kilimanjaro where the whole family can grab a handle in and hold on - so you slide together!

There is a fun and splash-filled adventure playground where you just have to watch out for that spilling bucket over head, or the fun and safe Lizard Lagoon which is perfect for toddlers with their shallow water and little kid-sized attractions.

That's not even half of them, but we don't want the outdoor attractions to feel left out!

Open May - September, the little kids can enjoy SplishSplash which is perfect for the younger swimmers with it's low-depth kiddy adventure land, or ride the waves like the motion of the ocean with their 12,000 square foot wave pool!  Wah scary!

But it's not all water - there are sand volleyball courts for tween and teens who want to exert themselves a little more, and a Samazon (clever!) ropes adventure (claiming to be the WORLDS longest ropes course!) with its 66ft high towers and over 40 different challenges for you to face! And we thought the wave pool was scary!

For the cherry on the top, they also have an arcade centre with redemption games.

Did we do okay explaining all of that!?  Phew!

I'm Hungry!

They have a yummy full-service cafe with made-to-order food such as pizza, gourmet hot and cold sandwiches, chicken fingers, wings, hot dogs, snacks, desserts and sodas. Bet you will have worked up an appetite by time you've finished with all the rides! However you can't bring outside food or drink in. .

Healthy Eating!

All sandwiches are made to order and can easily accommodate dietary needs. We also bottled water. .

Any Top Tips?

If you purchase your tickets online in advance, you get a discount! Also, remember to bring a towel, and they also supply a limited number of life jackets for kids of all ages if you want one. .

Need a little extra help?

The Congo Bongo Lazy River and Lizard Lagoon is zero entry, as well as parts of the water tree fort. They also have a chair lift for our basketball pool..

Baby Facilities

All women's and men's restrooms have baby changing tables..

Can I get one of those?

They have a fun arcade with redemption games so you can win yourself super fun prizes! .

Our family has been coming here at least 3 times a month for over 2 years now. What an amazing value the annual pass has been for us. My son and daughter enjoy the lazy river and the slides. But in the summer season I always know they are outside in the wave pool, having a blast. The staff, including Jim N. and the lifeguards who work the flow ride are always helpful and friendly. The restrooms, party rooms, and the park itself are always clean. Sahara Sam's is a fun place for all ages! Put this indoor waterpark on your "must do" list.

Attended a birthday party and wasn't sure what to expect. The birthday attendants we not organized and seemed no good flow. The indoor water part was humid and Ber heavy smell of chlorine. It has been five hours since I left and I have a major headache and just overall smell chlorine (like when you clean with bleach). There were life guards but for lazy river no one helping to get the kids on or off. Also kids aggressively pushing through the lazy river with no authority saying anything as the pushed though little kids. Has an outside wave...Read More

I enjoyed the outdoor pool better, especially the wave pool. The food there is rather expensive. I recommend purchasing a half day ticket, because with such minimal attractions altogether , it would be a waste of money. The place is okay, i guess.

We had our son's 6th birthday party at Sahara Sam's. It was the worst experience we have ever had at any facility. Four of our guess had to wait 45 minutes before they were let in to join our group. They had one person operating two water slides which made the lines very long. The patrons were not what you would call polite, for lack of a better term "Low Life's". The adults were cutting in front of the smaller children; the food we purchased was not enough to feed our group of children. Moreover, for the price of the pizza and platter, we could...Read More

The offer life jackets but the had mildew stains on them. Just overall disappointed. I think the worse part is the feeling I still have (along with family members) from chlorine smell and lack of ventilation indoors.

The adults were cutting in front of the smaller children; the food we purchased was not enough to feed our group of children. Moreover, for the price of the pizza and platter, we could have feed an army by going to Costco. We had to tell the employee to get more drinks for the kids; we also had to tell her we needed more chairs, which should have been apparent by the 6 people having to stand. We asked to see the manager who never came. There is nowhere to put your coats or gifts other than the floor. After such a horrible party the following day I was able to speak with the director of operations Daniel Freehing. That was like talking to a wall he offered no compensation no apology just made one excuse after the other. Bottom line I will never take my family there again!!!
