We had a great time at Safari Playground today. We had a lot of fun playing in the structure, which is meant for children 4 years old and up. There were some bigger 3 year olds playing as well and they were doing fine. Even the parents can get up there with some effort! The food was very good, much better than what you can get at Chuck E Cheese's, in my opinion. Also, they have a Coke Freestyle machine, which was a great bonus. The facility is clean, including the bathrooms, and we saw a staff member wiping down the play structure. Save yourself...Read More

Great place for the 4+ age range. It's about half arcade games and half play land designed for bigger kids. I'm definitely glad we didn't bring our 2 year old along because he would have spent the entire time chasing after the big kids and getting frustrated because he couldn't navigate the play land. We were there for a 5 year olds birthday party and it was a great set up. Pizza, drinks, and cake for the kids plus free range for a bunch of hyper boys to run around. What I liked most about the staff was that when I called a few days before the...Read More

Every game is a ripoff, some take four tokens for one silly game. Also, don't use the photo booth. It does not give change back and the card scanner doesn't work. It costs $3 but all I had was a five. Of course, no where does it say that you won't get change back. I'm glad I didn't put a $20 in. After arguing with the manager about my $2, and her claiming that it wasn't her machine and there was nothing she could do, she finally gave in and took the money out of the cash drawer, and then claiming that money was "out of her pocket." I noticed...Read More

I loved taking my kids there when they were still in Holly Mi and there place in Walled Lake is even bigger and offers more to do. I am disappointed the didn't incorporate the toddler play structure at the new location. It makes my visits limited to there non busy hours since I still have a very little one who would get trampled on by bigger kids.

One thing I didn't care for last time I was there where the private school mom's. They were snooty and seemed to take over the whole back room. They moved my kids shoes and coats along with our whole...Read More

What I liked most about the staff was that when I called a few days before the party to check ingredients and cooking procedures for my son's severe food allergies they were knowledgeable and helpful. They answered all of my questions and made me feel very comfortable about having my son eat there. I'd go back again in a heartbeat and my son is already talking about wanting to have his birthday party there.

I noticed another worker being quite rude, too. I won't be taking my family there again. Chuck-e-cheese in Novi is better.

One thing I didn't care for last time I was there where the private school mom's. They were snooty and seemed to take over the whole back room. They moved my kids shoes and coats along with our whole table so that they could re-arrange the chairs in a semi circle so they could do their own "thing". They didn't pay attention to their kids, and the kids were rude to mine.

The other parents and grandparents that were there before them were all very lovely though. Monitored there little ones like a responsible parent should do.

My recommendation if you have very small children is to go early in the day when its not as busy.
