I’ve been living at Saddle Mountain Ranch for almost 3 years and managing for a little over 1 1/2 years and feel very blessed to be apart of this place. We have a variety of lodging from completely furnished cabins to RV sites to tents. The nature out here is amazing- I have two little ones (ages 3 and under 1 year) who love to hike (89 acres of hiking) with me and enjoy the pool, playground and sunshine. My 3 year old son always tells me he misses Saddle Mountain whenever we go elsewhere to vacation. I love to hear feedback from all our guest and am eager to always improve what we can offer everyone who chooses to visit us. Our Staff is very friendly and accommodating. If you have questions please email or call us- we try to get back to you as timely as possible. We are a small park located on a hill. Since large RVs can be difficult to maneuver we only allow MH over 35ft and Trailers over 32 ft if they are staying for multiple nights. We currently do not have a $10 late check in fee. We tried having an after hours extra assistance available (late check-in fee) for $10.00 back in the Fall of 2012, Sept-Dec. This was for those who needed to use our printer as a courtesy (printing boarding passes, maps, etc) or needed other extra assistance after hours. In Spring 2013 I removed the late check-in fee option. I now ask guests to wait for normal office hours or to call me or our camp host directly with any needs during non office hours. I encourage all guests to contact management directly if they feel they feel unsatisfied with their stay here or if they feel that they were charged wrongly. Our desire is that our guests have the best experience possible during their visit with us!

Not a very comfortable campground for a tent user. The tent sites are either walk in, or the ones up on the hills are a real challenge to drive to. PLUS, the after 5pm registration fee is an additional $10. WHAT-DA-FUX!!

We stayed in one of the cabins. It had everything you needed for a very comfortable stay. We even talked about going back there and camping. The views are beautiful and it’s not too far from the beach.

this is primarily an rv park, but they do have a handful of campgrounds on the side of the hill. the campgrounds are dug into the hill. they are flat, but around the campgrounds is very uneven ground. the location is excellent and they have all the amenities. $35 per night. very friendly people working the camp. there is a really nice trail climbing up the hill to the ridge-line with amazing views. lots of poison oak. recommend.

We had a breakdown and arrived on a tow truck, but this didn’t seem to be a problem. The site is small, quiet and clean. There are good walks in the valley and a bus service to Carmel (not very frequent). We enjoyed our stay and would go back to spend more time here.
