Where are we going today?
The Rooster Cogburn Ostrich Ranch is about more than just Ostriches, but of course, they play a huge part too!
If you love animals, then why not stop by at this Arizona working farm that has been owned and operated by the same family for three generations. Pretty cool!
Kids, have you ever fed an ostrich? Well, now is your change! You never know the friends you might make along the way!
But like we said, the Rooster Cogburn Ostrich Ranch is SO much more than just those cute ostriches! Kids can have a chance to get up close to other adorable animals, from Peking Ducks, Miniature Sicilian Donkeys, Fallow Deer, and even Nigerian Dwarf Goats - who knew there was such a cute sounding animal! The Fallow deer are exceptionally tame and will hand feed from children.
There are even really sweet rainbow lorikeets that are always a huge hit with the kids.
Make sure you stop in and feed them - it's an unforgettable experience for them! They can hand feed the lorikeets nectar in their 5,000 square feet tropical enclosure, and get goaty kisses from the Hole In The Wall.
Kids - want to know something really fun? On weekends and holidays they have the VERY popular Picacho Peak Monster Truck Tours! Vroom Vroom!
Stop in and feed the critters for an unforgettable experience. Something for everyone - ostrich, deer, miniature Sicilian donkeys and Boer goats plus the Monster Truck Tours!
With outdoor activities and amusement parks too, it's no wonder that Rooster Cogburn Ostrich Ranch is an animal-tastic adventure in Arizona!

They are great for field trips! The kids learn about different animals with a hands on approach. The truck tours are very educational about ostrich, the desert, wildlife, snakes, and lots of other things..
Bottled water is available. No food is available except for ostrich jerky..
Need a little extra help?
Everything is wheelchair accessible but there are no handicap bathrooms..
Can I get one of those?
Ostrich products such as egg shells, eating eggs, ostrich oil, feather dusters, and souvenirs. Pretty cool!.
The hours of operation are weather permitting, so with heft dust storms in the area just check before you go if unsure!.

What a fun place to visit with the family. If visiting during the summer, go early!

Very simply, hands down the best roadside attraction in the world. Rooster is a gentleman and the ostriches are charming. If you drive past this place and don't stop by for 20 minutes, you are cheating yourself out of an amazing experience.

Had a blast! Loved feeding the ostriches, goats, donkeys, and deer. The lorikeets were also really cool, but they bit me when I tried to share the nectar amongst them. The staff were great, monster-truck ride was cool, and she was very knowledgeable teaching us about the Arizona desert while speeding over hills. Great experience and I will definitely recommend it to visitors!

This place is simply incredible. I had to do a review because of the very inaccurate and ridiculous posting from the gentleman who claims the animals are not cared for and not fed enough. I've been visting Rooster Cogburn Ostrich Ranch for years. The owners take great care for their animals and constantly go out of their way to make them and the human visitors happy. I think the poster doesn't understand that animals naturally seek food, and don't get full! No matter how much they eat, they will want more.Look carefully at these animals and you'll...Read More

They'll have a great time that they'll never forget
