Where are we going today?

Fishing right at your door step? Yes please! Red River RV Park is where families go to enjoy the cool, clean Rocky Mountain air, and enjoy adventurous activities all year round in those spectacular mountains!

You can wake up in the morning and enjoy a river view first thing as you roll out of bed, and be out there with a fishing rod about 2 seconds later trying to catch breakfast!

The RV Park offers large spaces with full hook ups, as well as cable TV, showers, a coin operated laundry, and a fun activities room for kids - also great for groups! There are 30 and 50 amp sites available, and the spaces back up to the very cool Red River where you can dip your feet in and try and catch you dinner (if you didn't manage at breakfast!)

If you don't have an RV but love the idea of staying in such a tranquil setting, they have lovely 2 story log cabins where they have tried to keep the look from the old mining days, however the insides are very modern! Every cabin has it's own porch, and these are just 10 feet from the river, or you can relax on the bottom porch on your porch swing! You can even fish from the porch! How cool is that!?

They have fully equipped kitchens, a living area, and a free trolley that stops at the cabins to take you to the shops, restaurants and ski rental businesses!

Don't fancy either of those? Try a yurt! These are also located along the river and have a fridge, microwave (as yurts do!) propane fire places, and tables and chairs, but you have to bring your own linens.

Summer in Red River sees you enjoying hiking, picnics, rock climbing, fishing and camping, and fun Cowboy evenings with entertainment cowboy style!

Winter sees powdery snow at your feet (or blades!) with snowboarding, skiing, and tubing!

They are located walking distance of downtown, but there is also a shuttle bus service right at the RV park if your legs are too tired from all the days activities!

And we haven't even mentioned half of what is on offer, so be prepared to have a very adventurous time!

Rude doesn't begin to describe these bozos. Friends of mine wanted to just DIP THEIR BIKE WHEELS in the river. "That'll be $10, please." No joke. What a great way to show hospitality.

We had reservations to stay in the yurts, paid for half of our visit up front, and then received a message saying that they had cancelled our reservation as they had double booked the yurt "but they would work with us." I called back and left a message (they never answer their phone) and kept calling back until they answered, which was the next day. They stated that they cancelled our reservation due to a double booking, but they would refund my deposit, I asked what they were going to do to help us as the message stated and they said they were...Read More

Yurt camping was interesting. It's a step up from tent camping, has cold running water(no hot), sink, frig, micro, and toilet(no shower). "Water closet" lacks privacy, only curtain to draw and feet stick out under that!. There are showers at office, but limited hours of availability. They claim heat available, only when propane tank full and they where not concerned with correcting problem. Main issue is with owner, they are not very friendly and could care less about your concerns!

We stayed in a yurt with our 4 kids this summer. The rv park is quite small and a little noisy because it is right by the highway. The yurt was spacious enough for all 6 of us. There was quite a bit of pet hair in the yurt when we arrived. There is a sign in the yurt asking you to clean up the yurt when you leave which led me to believe that nobody comes in and cleans from the rv park before the next guests arrive. The kids had fun playing in the river. Overall, these are nice accommodations for the money. You just might want to clean it...Read More

The facility is basic. Only some small shrubs to screen you from the highway but none between spots or for shade.

The showers are extra, though I wasn't told that during my tour - I only discovered the sign after I was undressed and ready to get into the shower. And you can only shower during office goes 8-5.

The wifi is a nice bonus. I could access the wifi from my site, at least the near side of my spot (to the office). The owners are nice, and very tired.

I asked if they could recommend somewhere else or help us secure other lodging as this was their mistake and they told me no, that they don't recommend other places and she hung up on me. RUDE!!!!
