Nice, convenient, clean and well kept RV park minutes from down town SLC. We have stayed here 8 or 10 times and have always been happy with the helpfulness and friendliness of the staff. All utilities are flawless and the place is spotlessly clean. Good fast wiFi and adequate cable. Right on a super bike path that leads north and south to many local connecting paths. Deer and waterfowl are always across the Jordan River.
It is a bit close to the freeway so expect some traffic noise - but the convenience is worth the noise.

This park is not child friendly! After being told we would be kicked out if my very well behaved older children continued to exist off our campsite, doing such terrible things as riding their bikes and going to the playground, they then proceeded to spray roundup in the tiny patch of grass they were allowed to play on! My children are now trapped in our tiny camper for the last week that we have payed here. Without wifi too, because that's a complete lie, it doesn't work.

While this is a lovely park with nicely kept grounds, the smell of sulphur dioxide from the nearby oil distillery was a bit too much at times. Moreover, I'm sorry to say this crew don't know how to run a wi-fi network, really poor wi-fi even by RV park standards. I spoke to another camper while there and they were having the same experience, unable to connect.
If you are passing through for a night and want an RV park close to the highway, and wi-fi isn't important to you then this park is fine..

Stayed three nights at Pony Express while exploring Salt Lake City. The park is clean, paved, level spaces and pull through sites that can handle big rigs . Staff was helpful. Bathrooms extremely clean and very private with your individual showers and restroom. Apparently, there's a dirt bike close to the park which can be a bit noisey along with the freeway being close by. I would reccommend this park to anyone.

We stayed here in Sept 09. We loved the park. Very reasonably priced. Yes, it is a little out of the way but we liked it. It is all paved, plenty of room between campers. We didn't think the workers were the greatest but the campground made up for it. Would stay here again.
