We loved Park Moabi when it was a regional park.Once Pirate Cove took over the prices increased and the customer love disappeared. Our family has gone there for years and they seem to nickle and dime us more and more every time with non-sense fees. Our final straw was when my dad passed away. We had reservations for the weekend of his funeral so I called to cancel, explain to them the situation and get a refund. They only refunded my account $120 when my reservation cost was $300. I called to ask if it was a mistake they informed me of their...Read More

This is NOT a resort. We have done a great deal of RV camping and "resort" implies that things like phone service and WIFI will be available. RV campgrounds don't always have those items but "resorts" do. At the very least, when you are booking your trip they need to advise you that they don't have these things. They did say they had WIFI at the store but when we went to the store we could not get on it. We went 30 minutes before the store closed and the clerk acted like we wanted her life blood to try to help us with the WIFI! Very rude and short...Read More

The RV Park is amazing located right on the river! By far the best chicken sandwich on the planet!!! Nothing beats sitting in your own private beach hut staring at a pirate ship and being served on by some of the best staff. This place is truly incredible I still cant believe it is located in Needles Arizona!

What a find in the Desert!! Spent the night in one of the Cabins and loved the beautiful decor of the rooms, being able to sit outside and enjoy the weather and sunset! Winter? No winter here! Food in the restaurant was great, very friendly staff. MUST DO: We did the boat tour to the Canyon. Fabulous! Red rocks, Indian petroglyphs dating back 3500 year ago the guide said. Saw bold eagles, mountain sheep and the best was that we boated alongside old Route 66. What a place, cannot rave more. Thanks for providing a wonderful place to stay. We'll be...Read More

I called to ask if it was a mistake they informed me of their cancellation policy: They charged for that whole weekend (Father's day weekend because they considered it a holiday weekend), plus the first night of stay, a cancellation fee, and some other non-sense fee. When I asked to speak with higher management he wasn't there so they sent me to his voicemail. He never returned my phone call. I tried again. Again a voicemail. No return. So I ended up disputing charges with my bank. Luckily there was no fight there. I'm so bummed what this place is turning into. We would've loved to keep coming back as we had for the past 15 years but I can't throw money into greedy pockets.

We went 30 minutes before the store closed and the clerk acted like we wanted her life blood to try to help us with the WIFI! Very rude and short and never did help us, all she wanted us to do was leave. We paid for full hookups but the power was so low we could barely run the ac. They did move us to another spot and it was ugly and the power was still an issue. Very disappointing! The place was nice but with a little helpful info from the people that work there I would not have taken my reports with me I needed to complete if I knew I had no phone or WIFI. We would have brought a generator if they had been honest about the poor power service. In the very last hours we were there we found the water taxi that took us around with no additional charge! He was the most helpful person there. Maybe they had more to offer but since no one told us we just don't know. We would go again but better prepared. They are one of the most expensive places we have stayed so we would have thought they would have wanted to make sure we knew everything to have a nice stay. The one girl in the office was on and on about the drinking parties but hey, we are grandparents with our two granddaughters standing there, maybe she could have shared something related to us rather than her????.......
