The MESS hall was great for our family. We have 2 kids (ages 5, 8) and they loved that they were able to "go and do" on their own. I think the concept for the MESS hall is amazing, and I hope that more families get memberships and join so that the funds are there for it to continue to grow! I have a membership at the McWane Center in Birmingham, AL and honestly, I wish McWane had a section for hands on experiments like the MESS hall has! This is a great place for homeschoolers to visit throughout the school year as well!

My family (mom, dad, sister, and son) and I absolutely enjoyed the MESS Hall. There are several experiments/activities for the kids to choose from. I love the idea of picking experiments from a menu and taking the materials back to your table on a tray like a real Mess Hall. It is a great place to visit if you have kids.
