Was not happy with my experience there. They make the kids take a 10 minute break to use the restroom and put sunscreen on instead of leaving this responsibility up to the parents. They also harass you regarding things you can wear and not wear. My 20 month old son was in an Infant Swim Resource (ISR) rated swim diaper and that was not good enough for them. They wanted him in swim shorts (that does NOT hold poop in), but when I went in wearing shorts because I was visiting town and did not bring a swimsuit, they kicked me out even though I was...Read More

My kids love going to pelican bay. For $7 a person it is a very good value. The breaks they have every 10 mins before the top of the hour are safety checks they have to check the pools. I thunk its smart especially since a woman just drowned in a public pool and it was days before anyone noticed. Never had any problems and the lifeguards are awesome.

They wanted him in swim shorts (that does NOT hold poop in), but when I went in wearing shorts because I was visiting town and did not bring a swimsuit, they kicked me out even though I was only wading in the pool with my toddler...not even swimming! The swim trunks for my toddler was a safety issue for everyone swimming in the pool. Had he pooped, Pelican Bay would have to (not saying they would) shut down the pool for 24 hours.
