Where are we going today?
Palo Also Junior Museum & Zoo is an amazing place for kids! It's filled with hands-on interactive exhibits all revolving around science and nature, AND they even have about 200 animals that call it home.
At the Palo Alto Junior Museum, kids can just have a great time, getting creative, experimenting, and engaging their curiosity, all the while learning about fascinating topics.
The museum wanted to create a place that engage children, where they can come and just explore and discover, and we think they have done just that! It's where their natural scientist will be nurtured!
The creatures, which represent around 50 species, are often used as part of science outreach programs, but they also love having visitors too! From the bobcat, to the hedgehogs, slippery snakes, to fresh water fish and even a giatn tortoise, they are all great to experience up close!
Kids - are you feeling brave? Did you know that the Palo Also Junior Museum & Zoo also has an exhibit where you can come face to face with some pretty cool creatures? This multi-sensory, hands-on experience lets you say hello to those creepy crawlies, such as spiders, insects, millipedes and even anthropods!
This exhibit has not only the living animals, but preseved ones too - eek!

What people are saying?
by Elliot Schwartz
Fun museum for toddlers and preschoolers. Small enough that you don't have to worry much about them getting lost. Big enough to keep them occupied for hours. A few vending machines in the lobby, but no restaurants or cafes within a mile of the location.
