Perhaps you want to explore the depths of the aquarium itself on a behind-the-scenes tour? You can even DIVE into the deep too!

Kids can watch those sea otters play or uncover what really lives in those rocky shores. There are reefs to marvel at, and even a giant octopus to come face to face with! Here, you navigate your way through a series of underwater walkways where you are led from the dark, quiet canyons of the reef, through the sparkling and teeming waters of Halibut Flats, and then right out into the open sea!

It's an amazing experience for kids to pass through three ecosystems, reflecting what really happens in the Pacific Ocean as you move further out. Pretty neat! It's not just UNDER the water that you can explore at Oregon Coast Aquarium either! Those beautiful shore birds that spend their life at sea except for the breeding season can be found in the aviary - one of the largest of its kind in North America! Even more neat!
