I cannot say enough nice things. If I could give 1000 stars I would. I accidentally left my key to my rental car on the very first bus of the day. Driver Mike and dispatcher Johnnie (sorry if I spelled that wrong), had held that key for me all day and made sure I got it when i got back to Union Station. The tour guide on my last bus, I'm so sorry I didn't get a name, was so supportive and helpful in my state of absolute panic. She kept assuring me that she would do all she could to help and personally escorted me down the longest walk of my...Read More

The tour of Washington DC could have been perfect if the commentator in the bus could just speak english clearly enough to be understood...The only words I understood was:"on the left" & "on the right"...We ended up taking the blue loop 2x instead of transferring to the red loop...Thanks to the driver & the staff waiting outside for misdirecting us... Won't recommend this company at all... :(

My wife and I enjoy taking tours like these when traveling to unknown cities. They tend to have great local insight and are a great way to get around town. The price seemed normal, to what we had paid in the past, for this type of tour ($48 each). Our first impression of the operation was great. The bus was nice, clean. The two gentlemen operating the bus were very kind, pleasant, and entertaining. We greatly enjoyed this first bus...I wish I had grabbed a review card from the guide, so we could have given them a great review. We had to exit this...Read More

Do not use. Too expensive, one bus we took had no A/C and we sat on it for 2 hours at 100 degrees outside. Tour is too long on each route. Driver was awful at driving. Threw people around the whole trip slamming on and off the brakes. Driver was on a head set the whole time talking and nearly ran a co worker over taking off too early. Had a assistant just sit and ride the bus the whole trip. Didn't get up and help on the elderly or point people in the right direction just sat and talked on her phone complaining to another co worker on another...Read More

Tour was expensive at $144 for 2 adults & 2 kids, but that's to be expected. What we really did not like about the tour was the in frequency of the buses. They are on a 30 minute schedule, so if you miss one you are waiting quite a while. Our visit to DC was the first week of April 2014 so maybe they will put more buses on the schedule and increase frequency as the tourist season progresses???
Secondly, the buses stop at certain stops and sit there for 15-20 minutes, like the train station. Between the waiting on the bus and the waiting at the...Read More

The extra effort shown by all of these employees is so heart warming.

The two gentlemen operating the bus were very kind, pleasant, and entertaining. We greatly enjoyed this first bus...I wish I had grabbed a review card from the guide, so we could have given them a great review. We had to exit this bus in order to tour other areas...which we saw as a great feature that other tour routes were offered. This is where the frustration started, for us. The next bus we got on did not have a tour guide on it telling us about the surroundings...it had a recorded message. We thought this may be a fluke, so we exited that bus and caught the next one on the same route...buses every 15-30 was another great bonus. Well the next bus we got on did not have a tour guide either...we tried again, same issue. We finally got an answer out of one of the employees about the tour guides and they told us that only one of the routes has tour guides on the buses. The rest of the routes are hit or miss...one route has guides on some of the buses and the other lines don't have guides at all. If we wanted to ride a bus and not be informed and entertained we would have ridden the city buses for a couple of dollars. The lack of guide on the majority of the buses and routes would have been nice to know about in advance...of course we wouldn't have purchased the tickets, but it still would have been nice to know.

Didn't get up and help on the elderly or point people in the right direction just sat and talked on her phone complaining to another co worker on another bus somewhere about the job. Buses also smelled and were not clean. Will never use again. Too expensive to have all these problems.

Secondly, the buses stop at certain stops and sit there for 15-20 minutes, like the train station. Between the waiting on the bus and the waiting at the bus stops for our limited time in DC we all decided that weather permitting we would use the bike rentals the next time and see a lot more.
