Have you ever wanted to explore what REALLY lives under the waters of our oceans and lakes? Well, at the very popular Oklahoma Aquarium, you can, and you don't even have to get wet!
Oklahoma Aquarium has over 100 amazing exhibits that allow families of all ages to discover colorful, weird and wonderful aquatic creatures of all kinds!
How about you start your day exploring the Amazing Invertebrates, where urchins, sea stars and sponges are all waiting to show you just how diverse aquatic life can be!
Did you know that fish breathe air? And can see both below AND above the water? In Extreme Fishes, there are so many fun facts for kids to learn as they dive into the gallery shows to see what really goes on in the life of a fish.
From the fish that we know, to the most bizarre creatures, the Aquatic Oklahoma is where things really might get strange! You can see an unusual pre-historic paddlefish, and even a 120 year old snapping turtle! You might never look at those Oklahoma waters the same again....a real learning experience!
Then you can transport yourselves to the banks of an Oklahoma stream, where mammals such as river otters, raccoons and beavers await!
One of the great things about Oklahoma Aquarium is that it's a place where kids can learn all about the environment, and how and why it's important to look after it. EcoZone is a whirlwind tour of the waters all over the world, from the kelp forests and rocky coasts, that showcases how important our reefs and waters really are.
It's also here kids can get their hands wet and actually get exploring in the touch tanks - have you ever felt a starfish, or a sea urchin? Get ready - you might just be surprised what they feel like!
With sharks, jellyfish, piranhas and so many other beautiful and fascinating creatures, there is always something new to explore with each visit - so what are you waiting for, there is a whole ocean to uncover, and it starts here!

I always enjoy coming to this place when we're in Tulsa. The price is a bit on the high side, but it's great place to visit overall.

This place is great! They keep their rental skates well sharpened. Only downside to the place is that tons of youth are their with no parental supervision on most Friday & Saturday nights and congregate in groups on the ice messing up the flow of traffic which the management typically does nothing about. Any other night of the week is great though, and weekend day time is great.
