I took my 3 and 5 year old here on 11/29/2014. We first discovered the place a couple years ago. At the time it was a little run down and dirty, but the kids enjoyed it and it seemed safe enough so we went back fairly regularly. We even had our daughter's 4th birthday party here. Since then it has gone downhill to the point where I no longer feel it's safe for the kids to play here. In the jungle gym there are multiple segments of the structure (including segments at the top) that are poorly taped off with signs like "do not enter". My children...Read More

My kids with 2 of their friends visited Odyssey Fun World in Naperville on 12/23/13. They went because of their winter special a $15 Extreme Adventure Wrist Band; unlimited laser tag, rides, etc. They arrive & are told there is no special price, so they pay $20 each for the wristband (an extra $5 per kid = a wrist band). They go to play laser tag & have to change equipment 3 times because either the gun or vest is broken. By the time they get working equipment their time is up! I contact OFW & they make good by offering to mail out new wristbands...Read More

If I could give this place less than one star I would. What a dump, dirty carpet, filthy bathrooms, you name it. Most of the video games are either broken or at least 20 years old, the "rides" are a ripoff, and the kids maze is about the dirtiest I've ever seen. Don't waste your money here.

In the jungle gym there are multiple segments of the structure (including segments at the top) that are poorly taped off with signs like "do not enter". My children can't read, and shouldn't need to be able to read to play in the jungle gym safely. The new problem was a giant hole under the jungle gym in the middle of the padded floor, the solution... putting a couple wet floor signs next to it?? It's a shame the company will not put a few dollars back into cleaning up and maintaining the equipment. A jungle gym that is not safe and open for play is a deal breaker on a place created for children. It's more than a temporary issue as well, we were there about 6 months ago and the signs were on the jungle gym. I didn't go back for a while hoping they would get things fixed up by the next time we came but as it turns out it's even worse. We will not be returning.

I contact OFW & they make good by offering to mail out new wristbands on 12/26/13. As of today (1/16/14) I have yet to receive the wristbands. I left a voice mail msg for Ryan Jacobs, Marketing Dir last week which was never returned. I sent an email this morning asking how we can resolve the issue and this is the email I receive. NICE Customer Service. This is the 2nd time we've gone & were told there was no special price. The first we had the email with us. Unfortunately we did not have it this time, BUT the special was posted all over their Facebook page. If the Marketing Director, Ryan Jacobs communicates with customers in this manner, just think how the front line staff interact with visitors!

Hi Susan,

Please understand that I went above and beyond and against my better judgment in giving you those 4 wristbands. If they were in fact lost, that would be the first time that has happened in my 4 years at Odyssey. No disrespect is intended, but we did our job in sending it out here and that's all that we can do. I cannot and will not send out another gift certificate and the situation now lies in the hands of you and the postal service. There also are serial numbers on the gc to help us in instances like this, so we will make use of those. Please let me know if it turns up.

Respectfully,

Ryan Jacobs
