Where are we going today?

The Niagara Power Project Power Vista is FREE to visit, but that is only just the start of what's great about this New York attraction.  

A visit to this unusual family day out attraction gives kids a fun learning experience, in a new and unusual place! They can enjoy hands-on educational fun, with great demonstrations, which can teach them all about science! What better way to learn about static electricity, than in a place like Niagara Power!

There are galleries FILLED with great kids learning, all about timelines, and geology, and even interactive gaming will feature in their fun day out. 

If that wasn't all, if you want a really fun experience at Niagara Power Project Power Vista - head up to the deck sitting 350 ft about the Niagara River - and try and look down! Be brave, it's an amazing view!

The tours are self-guided, and you can follow the new QR coding trail with your phone, so you can uncover even more information as you make your way around the tour. 

If you want a truly special family day out, you can customize your own tour, which can be as short as 15 minutes, or even as long as a few hours!

Teachers corner

You can arrange tours that you can customize yourself, and these can range to up to 3 hours. The educational tour is the best which covers the STEM subjects.

Any Top Tips?

If you have time left at the end of your visit you can ask to send an electronic postcard of your trip to family or a friend, which takes a little while to do but is a nice touch for kids!.

    This is an amazing place to tour. Its crazy that Canada can produce so much electricity just from the Niagara falls and the Niagara river. A must see when you visit.

    This attraction has something for every member of the family. The power vista is open every day of the week from 9AM-5PM and is FREE. Kids and adults will enjoy the interactive displays that explain how power is made. The view from the plant cannot be beat and is an excellent attraction on a cold or rainy day if you are visiting. Be certain to ask about the fisherman's platform at the base of the plant. If it is open, you need to take a trip to visit it.
