Directions

MAM is located in downtown Missoula on Pattee Street, one block north of the intersection with Broadway. From I-90, take the Madison Avenue exit, turn south towards Broadway, turn right onto Broadway. Drive six blocks to the stoplight on North Pattee, turn right. MAM is located on the left side of Pattee at the corner of Pine. From Missoula International Airport, turn right on West Broadway/I-90-BR. Drive 5.6 miles into downtown Missoula, turn left at the stoplight with North Pattee. MAM is located on the left side of Pattee at the corner of Pine.

MAM is an exciting and enriching place to bring your kids. With seven galleries, there is always a choice of exhibitions to offer a rich selection of visual food for thought and pleasure for viewers of all ages. MAM's exhibition program is a broad landscape that serves and represents diverse audiences and creative interests. Each year, 20 to 25 solo and group exhibitions rotate through six state-of-the-art galleries.

    Beautiful, unique, and varied artwork is housed in a beautiful, unique, and varied building with a donation-based admission that makes it accessible to all. There's always something unique and unusual on display, and although the artists usually aren't world famous they're certainly well-respected and usually very important to the area.

    Always free admission and three floors of art to see, I highly recommend a visit to this museum. The staff is friendly and helpful. The architecture of the building alone is just beautiful. Visit MAM.

You can spend a good hour or two admiring the artwork, and the museum is definitely worth checking out. Modern facilities and a small gift shop, as well as classrooms for school and community classes and events add to the flair.
