Where are we going today?

If you have active kids over 8 years who would LOVE the thrill of racing around a proper karting track, then you might have to head to Miller Motorsports Park

This state of the art racing facility is used for automobiles, karts and bikes, that YOU can get involved with too!

The "arrive and drive" karts are a great way for kids to have a safe, fun, and most of all exciting time behind the wheel racing the family - or just trying to beat their personal best!

The karts are well maintained, so there is nothing to worry about - even though they do up to 50mph! You never know...it might inspire them to become world racing champions!

Of course, if you truly are inspired, and fancy a career in racing, then Miller Motorsports park has a Utah Kart Championship which is the perfect starting point for those who DO fancy a career in amateur or professional racing!

They hold the racing championships on the 0.9 mil professional track, and they hold a 12 race series from March to October. There are 13 classes, and you can be as young as 5 to enter!

If you would prefer to sit back and watch others in action, they have races across the year, as well as Supermoto racing!

They have karts to suit every driver, whether you are young and new to the sport, or older and a pro. Just sit back, push that pedal to the metal and GO!

I will start with the positive. The facility was nice. But from the perspective of event spectator/camping at the event. We attended the Lucas Oil Off Road race this past weekend. The Entertainment was awesome. But that is as far as I can go with my positive experience. From the time I entered the facility. I was amazed that this place can stay in business. The gate people did not take any tickets from me. They were not sure where I was suppose to park. Had no idea how the power was suppose to be divided between the camping spots $125 a night. I have traveled all over the country racing and filming professionally at more than 25 tracks. Miller ranks the lowest out of all of them. Iv been coming to MMP since the day it opened and nothing has changed. Nice bathrooms. That about it.

Attended Wide Open Wednesday for the season closing - a few bucks and a helmet and you're on the track - Totally loved it. I was finishing the last run of the day on the autocross track pulling on the last straight and I heard something no one wants to - I'd blown a spark plug right out the side of my rotary engine.

I parked and helped put up the cones and we found the spark plug undamaged. Justin the supervisor showed up and found a way to lift up the car long enough to thread the plug back in - it was not tightening all the way so I was nervous...Read More

The gate people did not take any tickets from me. They were not sure where I was suppose to park. Had no idea how the power was suppose to be divided between the camping spots $125 a night. The spots are not big enough for large RV's. Did not have enough dump spots for lavatory service. 1 spot which was poor at best. We were sold $30 tickets which did not get us under a covered stand. This is in the desert,, very hot !!! We were told we could upgrade for $5 I would have given $30 to set under the cover. We tried and were told it was sold out for Saturday. So we went early for Sunday to upgrade. And was sold different color bands so the group could not all set together. CRAZY !!!! They have a zip line that was closed for the season for some special event.I watched it operate about 10 times the entire weekend. I could have made thousands of $$$ operating it for the general public. Our entire group wanted to try it.This could go on for pages. But I think I have made my point. I will be amazed if this place doesn't go bankrupt. Just a little bit of management would go a long way. ):

Justin the supervisor showed up and found a way to lift up the car long enough to thread the plug back in - it was not tightening all the way so I was nervous driving home. Mike, the carting manager offered to follow me to SLC - once we got there I pulled over and offered him some cash or a gift card - he declined both. YMMV but man they made a really crappy situation turn into a great evening with a minor speed bump.

Justin - you have a quality team and you've earned a customer for life (and you didn't loose a car on the autocross all season!) Way to go! Thank you for the incredible experience and care you and your team provided.
