I have just returned from Goodland Kansas, we enjoyed the park so much we left a day early! This could be a really nice park but the owners are just not reinvesting any money back into it. Coming in there are pot holes everywhere, the lots were wide enough, but the grass that you walk on or the kids play on is full of sandburs! The majority of the grass in this park is just field grass, nothing like sod, and your animals will have sandburs everywhere! So make sure and check your animals paws because these things hurt! The laundry room is in a very secluded spot which made me a bit nervous about going in alone, it is in the main building but all the way around to the back. It looked like a junk room- there was stuff sitting everywhere…..and the washers and dryers were filhy- if one of my dogs had not had an accident on a bed cushion ( I needed the cushion clean for sleeping on that night) I would not have used one of those washers or dryers….nasty! They charge 1.50 a load to wash and 1.00 to dry. Many of the rv’s in the park have a ton of junk outside of them which looks really bad…The gate to the pool area was just hanging……and their idea for lighting was to buy those solar lamps like you put along your driveway… and to use zip ties to attach them to the fence. They also boast that they have a park……which is an old swing set with a slide…..that’s it! If you are coming through here and really need a place to stay for the night …it would probably be ok but for anything else…..skip it and go on down the road. We will not stay here again unless we absolutely have to.

Run down and spaces are tight getting in and out in a big rig. It was acceptable for one night on the way through, but I will try the KOA next time.
