Where are we going today?

The Miami Children's Museum is really all about one thing - giving kids a place where they can learn, create, imagine and play together!

It's that simple!

The Miami Children's Museum is where kids can experience interactive exhibits and programs, as well as explore various learning materials, that will expand their knowledge in culture, the arts, communication and the community.

The best part is - they won't even realize they are learning! The exhibits are all designed for kids to be able to explore, create, experiment and discover in a fun and playful way.

Each of the exhibits has a specific objective, and target age group, so you can always ensure your kids are enjoying the best ones for them!

Creative kids can get those fingers messy with all types of arts and crafts, using clay and colorful paints to really express themselves.  The Bank exhibit teaches kids about money and saving in a super fun way, and fantasy is all around them in the Castle of Dreams, where a two story sand castle represents the beginning of the imagination adventure!

The Miami Children's Museum is where future engineers can start constructing cities, kids can ride on cruise ships, or explore the ocean. There are outdoor exhibits where active kids can play, or make music in their own studio!

With supermarkets, pets, eco exhibits and so much more, it's certainly a museum with a difference - one with no "do no touch" signs, and just plenty of places for kids to have hands-on FUN!

I visited museum with my children this week and was very disappointed. My kids liked it however I felt it was very dirty, way too crowded with many camps, kids pushing me and my children. In the vet section they had a doctor mask that every kid put on their mouth (yuck). The purell stations had no purell inside. This place is a mess, its out of control. I love Young Arts Museum in Fort Lauderdale. VERY Clean and organized even with camps (when they are there). If I ever go back here its just because my kids begged me because I personally...Read More

Birthday Party Experience - The only thing that makes it 3 stars from dislike to it is ok is the actual museum and the girl that was in charge of my party. 1. VOLUNTEERS: They really need to work on few details. First of all, one of the volunteers tried to take the toys from the cake which I thought it was very inconsiderate. He did not even ask. The volunteers at the party were just in the corner talking around and not caring about my guests... 2. ADMINISTRATION: Initially they asked for $200 deposit which I gave with a credit card 5 days before...Read More

The concept of the museum is very nice, my daughter is almost 3 and had a good time. However, there was no staff supervision in ANY of the rooms,so there were toys everywhere, no organization at all. Not even at the Tinker Toy Exhibit, the small pieces were everywhere. Many of the "exhibits" were broken and/or had pieces missing.

My kids love it but nothing much for adults to enjoy. Prepare for a couple hours of walking and tedium.

Lame. $72 for family of 4. The kids 2 & 4 didn't find anything engaging. Big disappointment.

ADMINISTRATION: Initially they asked for $200 deposit which I gave with a credit card 5 days before the party you had to pay the other $200.00 which I authorized with a debit card. They charged $400.00 to my debit card...I am checking now to see if they failed to charge the deposit but even if they did a courtesy call was the right thing to do. Also, their customer care experience needs to improve. 3. THE FOOD! I ordered food and noticed no one ate much...so I was wondering why, until I got home and ate a piece of that pizza...from SUBWAY which is the only place that you can order from. I feel embarrassed my guest had to eat that. It is terrible... they don’t even let you bring a bag of chips, saying that you can buy individual chips for the guest which cost almost a dollar per person. Very disappointed, I did give the girl a good rating on her survey because I felt bad...I will def pass along this review to their manager or supervisor. They need to work on it.
