Directions

Splash your way to 3799 Las Vegas Blvd S - that's the MGM Grand Hotel! If you are coming from I-15, exit 1-15 and head east onto E Tropicana. Just cross Las Vegas Blvd and then turn left into MGM Grand off E Tropicana Ave.

Where are we going today?

Viva MGM Grand Pool Complex! Splash away the hot Nevada sun at this 6.5 acre (yes you read that right - 6.5 acres!) splash-tastic pool complex in the MGM Grand Hotel.

Feeling a little lazy?  After a long day taking in the sights and sounds of the bustling Las Vegas strip, you can grab a fun, inflatable tube and float gently down the quarter mile lazy river. Relax, float, spin, and soak up the energy of all the other kids having a great time around you - and then go and join them!

Play games, swim, hide (there is plenty of room for that!) and splash in the 4 large beautifully designed pools, or try out the 3 fun, whirly whirlpools that might make you go a bit dizzy!  There are even fun, playful waterfalls to hide under - can you spot them?

If you want to dry off a little, then you could always reserve a poolside lounge in one of their 26 Cabanas or day beds, which hold up to 8 people.  They are great options for shade in the often searing Nevada heat.

Parents, it's not all about the kids! While your kids are off exploring the many acres of refreshing playtime, you can enjoy one of the poolside massage services, or spend some time in their adults only Directors Pool.

If all that swimming has made your tummies rumble, then you can fill up at their full service Cabana Grille.  Gotta keep that energy up - there are all those acres to explore!

So put on that sunscreen (very important!) and enjoy this mini desert Oasis!

I recently stayed at MGM for four nights in late September/early October. Check in was pretty quick and courteous, and kept the large line moving at a steady rate. Getting to the room was pretty easy from the front desk as well. The room in the Grand Tower was excellent, with the only minus of the stay being the bathtub/shower. The tub was very small in comparison to what I've seen at other hotels I've stayed at, as I could barely fit inside, and the water pressure from the shower was terrible. Other than that, it's a great place to stay. There...Read More

I booked a West Tower King room 6 weeks in advance. When I booked, the resort was offering a special with a $50 food credit if you stayed two nights or more. When we arrived at the MGM on Oct. 14th. I was told that the type room I booked wasn't available so they would upgrade us. Some upgrade, we were given a first floor room in the south corridor with No View, construction right outside our window and a shower that would flood the bathroom floor when used. They also wouldn't honor the $50 food credit because it didn't print out on my itinerary....Read More

We were treated so well, and felt like we were living large in their rooms. When they found out it was our anniversary, we were given a free upgrade. We were also given a complimentary hour late check out. There is a little wear and tear you'll see once in awhile, but even thought it's an older hotel, they keep it up very well. Loved our stay here!

Check in/out was efficient, courteous. Staff was pleasant. The KA theater was amazing. The rooms were OK typical hotel style but not very well lit. Nice big windows but dirty.

Now for the bad: Paid extra for an upgrade to be told they did not have the room available. There was "canned" music playing extremely loud, over and over again..same stuff whether at the pool, in the elevator,in the walkways, at the doors, and at the restaurant. Was annoying and then just plain obnoxious.

Resort fee is just a hoax for skimming more $$$ with little value....Read More

Very bad customer service. Hotel is old, ran down, smells like sigarates, there is so many newer hotels at the same price and excellent customer service. We had room on 14th floor and we could hear poool loud music goin badly, the Ivon (mngr) did not help us to move to different room and he was super rude on the phone.

We wouldnot reccomend this hotel. Try Vedara or Aria, at the same price, excellent customer service.

Don't waste your money. This hotel needs full renovation and new mngmnt.

    Good luck!

Other than that, it's a great place to stay. There are a plentiful amount of good food and drink options inside. The size of the place might be a bit off-putting to some, but for me it was not an issue. I would definitely stay at MGM again, and would highly recommend it as a place to stay on the south end of the strip!

I even pulled up their website on my phone and showed them the offer, but because it didn't print the resort would not honor it. We complained but it did no good since there was a large number of conventions in town and we were in town for my son's (an Iraq War combat wounded Veteran) wedding. I would not recommend the MGM to anyone. We were treated just awful.

Resort fee is just a hoax for skimming more $$$ with little value. $25 per day fee that is really $28 with tax just to have WIFI....Had to waste 30 minutes on the phone to hook up that WIFI with a rude and very impatient IT person (I am not WIFI illiterate). Maybe if he had done his job right, there wouldn't be so many individual phone calls to take! In order to get a decent workout had to pay an extra $10 to go to the REAL gym near the pool...only two of the three pools were open and were crowded..no paper delivery - all cover by your resort fee..these services are included in the hotels off the strip. What a rip off.

The place is a maze of walkways with long distances to eateries, the door, the pool so plan to spend wasted time getting to and fro with all the masses doing the same. People in a herd can sure be rude! All the while being barraged by that "flaming" canned music.

All food is at least 30% overpriced and VERY salty. Examples from the "in-room mini bar" - $8 for 8 oz of Coke; $8 for 12 oreo cookies or was it 10, $6 for bottle water.

There are better options out there folks.
