If you want to experience something pretty special, then you might want to head to the Major Graham Mansion in southwest Virginia. It's historic, and it's also....haunted...BOO!

Major Graham Mansion offers tours and events throughout the mansion, both historic and paranormal. The historical tours will take the family around the 11,000 square foot mansion that was built in three distinct architectural styles and time periods. It's a fascsainting look through history at how people used to live.

Very little has changed within the mansion since it was built all the way back in the 1830s,.

Then, if your family enjoy a little more spooks in your family day out, just check out the events they have across the year.

The mansion hold historical weekends where you can witness Civil War re-enactments, mansion tours, and even music.

Then there are tours of the haunted Graham Mansion, which occur September and October, and super fun haunted attraction events in November (not suitable for kids under 8 years).

The mansion even have paranormal investigations across the year. Keep checking the diary because some years are limited to certain months for public tours due to renovations.

If you're around for Halloween and looking for something to really give you a unique and spooky experience, Major Graham Mansion might just be it!

The mansion is said to genuinely be haunted, so they don't set anything up. If you feel or hear something - that could be the real deal!

The haunted weekend event has a general store and food vendors. If you are taking a tour it's best to eat before you arrive
