My husband and I have visited twice and we found it to be a wonder both times. We brought our cameras and have hundreds or marvelous butterfly pictures to enjoy over and over again. We will be back.

The place is beautiful, the butterflies and other small animals inside are great. The problem is the staff, at least those working the gift shop/admissions. We came in and told her the number in our party and she rang us up as we noticed there was actually a student discount which would amount to a good deal of savings, she refused to void and re-ring our transaction, even when our card didnt go through she wouldnt make the change. To ' make up the difference' she grabbed a few butterfly ID sheets and dropped them on the counter in front of us....Read More

I have visited this place few times and each time it just brings in the serene feeling. This place is open for all seasons and well maintained. It is deceptive from outside, but you will be surprised once you get in. They have increased the rates a little, but it is worth it if love nature and especially Butterfly

To ' make up the difference' she grabbed a few butterfly ID sheets and dropped them on the counter in front of us. we were the only ones in line so there was no reason she couldnt take the time to fix it for us. The rest of our visit was fine, inside the staff was out of the way. when I emailed later about our experience I was ignored, worse yet when I made a comment on their FB page hoping for at least an acknowledgement of some sort it was just deleted. This is probably the worst customer service I have ever experienced. If you choose to go, be sure to know exactly what your charges should be ahead of time and dont hope for any one to point out things to help you out.
