This is an incredible park and a must see if in Louisville or Jeffersonville. A mix of bikers, runners and people strolling across the bridge. Watch for the Belle of Louisville, sailboats and other river traffic.

Great park... perhaps one of the best waterfront parks in the country. Yeah... I know... it's my hometown and I'm a bit bias, but seriously, it is a great, world class park. The crown jewel of the park is the Big Four Bridge spanning the ohio river. It is a century+ old railroad bridge that has been converted to a pedestrian and bicycle bridge. A spiral ramp from this park leads to the bridge. This park feels like it was not designed by city planners, but by an artist. The grass, trees, landscaping, and ground itself all come together to form a work of art. Mounds of Earth have been shaped and sculpted to create surreal landscapes in certain areas. Some areas will immerse you deep enough in tall landscaping that you forget your in the middle of a city (almost!). Currently, the large park is dotted with picnic tables, grills, swings, playgrounds, spraygrounds, and many walkways of both curvy or angular fashion. What can I say?... I like it.
