A park with a miniature train and miniature golf? Yes please! Landa Park is 51 fun filled acres in New Braunfels, and is so much more than just a park.
A great day out for the family, you can take a picnic and enjoy a lunch or dinner under the shades of the giant oak trees. There are also picnic tables (with a $10 fee in season) which are first-come, first served. Another great reason to make a day of it! There are also over 75 BBQ grills for you to cook up your favorite dishes for the whole family!
Need to cool off on those hot summer Texan days? The Aquatic facilities will help! Splash about in the spring fed pool, or practice those strokes in the Olympic Pool. If two weren't enough, there is also the Swimming Pool Bath House.
From into the water, to ON the water, the boathouse offers fun paddle boat rentals, where the family can get out in the midst of the lake wildlife. You can also enjoy fishing from the pier.
Love golf? Why not! There is a fun miniature golf course where the family can get together and try and beat your own personal best! Come on, we know you can get that hole in one! (If you fancy yourself a bit of a pro, there is also a larger course!)
There are historical structures, and gazebos to explore, as well as four playscapes for kids to work off all that energy from lunch!
Volleyball courts and horseshoe pits are waiting for those active park lovers, as is the Panther Canyon Nature Trail!
What's that sound? Oh yes...it's nature calling!
From Austin, take IH-35 S towards San Antonio. Take exit 189 and turn right onto Hwy 46 (Loop 337). Follow this to California St, then turn left. This becomes Landa Park Drive and takes you to the middle of the park.
