Land of Make Believe Hope
Where are we going today?
Here's a FUN fact! Did you know that the Land of Make Believe has been giving families a great time for over 60 years? Just think about how much fun has been had!
The Land of Make Believe is over 30 acres of family fun in the beautiful New Jersey! In addition to that brilliant water park, there are also amusement park attractions to be enjoyed, so what are you waiting for!
Are you feeling a little COOL? Best start with the favorite of the Pirates Plunge! This super slide will twist and turn you down to the big splash pool at the bottom. Hope you are feeling brave!
You can't miss Blackbeard's Pirate Fort when you're at the Land of Make Believe. Just spot that huge 1000 gallon dumping bucket, where every swashbuckler standing underneath it will get SOAKED!
Of course, that wouldn't matter if you'd just come from the Sidewinder - a spine tingling experience! It's the first in New Jersey, and we don't tell you what happens. That can be a surprise!
The whole family can spend time together if you ride Blackbeard's Action River Ride, where you can just relax in your tubes and make your way around the park, taking it all in.
Let's not forget those little ones, and their own Pirate Ship and wading pool, complete with kiddie slides. Perfect for their own mini thrills!
But Land of Make Believe is more than just a waterpark!
Kiddies might want to hop around on the fun Jump Around Frog, or take a ride on the Rockin Tug boat. There is even a talking scarecrow!
Sounds like at Land of Make Believe there is almost TOO much fun to be had! Do you think you could handle it?

I have been to the park numerous times and don't get me wrong it is awesome! HOWEVER, I did apply for a job there.I handed my application in weeks early. The interview went great. Got the job! They asked me for 3 recommended jobs of choice, and said that i was guaranteed one of them. Let me also mention that I recommended the job to a friend. No experience was needed to get the job. That friend who handed their application in weeks almost a month after me got what I had chosen to do (game booth or front entry). I almost forgot to mention why I didn't...Read More

Randomly decided to head to the park. I live 45 minutes away and never knew it was there. I have a 2.5 year old and my wife and I were so impressed. They went in almost all of the rides followed by a trip around the lazy river, some water slides and lots of pool playing. The staff were great, the park was just the right size to spend some time exploring and enjoying all it had to offer. We are defiantly going to plan another trip to the Land Of Make Believe!!!!

When you arrive at The Land of Make Believe, the first thing you see is "Cash Only", then "No Coolers", so they can sell you their $5 Hot Dogs. This start to the day at Land of Make Believe is a difficult one. However, the kids loved every minute of it. LoMB's guidance of 8 and under is perfect. Our 3 year old raced from slide to slide in the pool and had the best day of his life. Our 5 year old loved the bigger water slides and the whole environment. Our 8 year old also enjoyed the park and the lazy river.

That friend who handed their application in weeks almost a month after me got what I had chosen to do (game booth or front entry). I almost forgot to mention why I didn't take the job. First of all, no days off, even if you have a good reason (family gathering, etc.). I am a very short person, about 5 ft tall. The friend who applied a month after me was about 5' 5''. I'm sorry is that height discrimination? Infact, I was the ONLY PERSON DOING THE JOB I WAS TOLD. It was called x-ray. That is where you pick up trash around the park. I feel as I was stuck in the worst job by myself let alone, because of my height. Didn't take the job. ALSO, the friend who got my job had to quit because they wouldn't allow her a few days off for a small vacation. The park is great, but please do not apply for a job.
