Where are we going today?

Lake Lowndes offers complete recreational facilities for families. Located on beautiful 150 acre Lake Lowndes, the park offers unlimited opportunities for picnicking, fishing and camping, as well as complete facilities for football, soccer, softball, tennis, basketball, volleyball and more !

    We were looking for a hotel to stay at the night of my cousins graduation (from Mississippi state) and they were all booked up (about a month before the graduation!) So i thought I'd see if there were any parks with available cabins. Thankfully we found this and we were pleased with the price !
    We caught a few fish from the the pier and the bank :) Really nice lakeside cabin with a beautiful view and a pier out back!

    A good place for a wide variety of recreation options. The facilities need updating as does the tennis courts and the disc golf course. Map on course was not legible and the signs at each hole were very weathered and difficult to read. The fishing dock was newly built though.

We were looking for a hotel to stay at the night of my cousins graduation (from Mississippi state) and they were all booked up (about a month before the graduation!) So i thought I'd see if there were any parks with available cabins. Thankfully we found this and we were pleased with the price !
We caught a few fish from the the pier and the bank :) Really nice lakeside cabin with a beautiful view and a pier out back!
The park also has a playground with two different jungle gyms w/slides, swing set etc. kids had a blast rolling down the hill and playing camping bingo behind the cabin. All in all a graduation turned into a great three day vacation!
