Where are we going today?

If you're feeling a little brave in Connecticut, you  might want to try the thrills that Lake Compounce has in store for you! Of course, if you prefer those attractions and rides that are a little more gentle, Lake Compounce has those too!

After all - it's a FAMILY theme park!

This fun New England experience is the perfect family day out for those who love different things in a theme park.

Love coasters and thrill rides? Great! Why not get prepared for the NEW to 2016 Phobia ride? It's the FIRST triple launch coaster in New England that uses LSM technology. There is an inversion 150ft in the air, and a 180 degree vertical twist on the lift! Crazy!

Boudler Dash is a fun, classic coaster experience, and that classic pirate ship is ready to take you on the high seas. You will feel like you're having an adventure in the perfect storm!

Want to drop 185 feet at 60mph? Good luck to you! Down Time can sort that out for you, just as Thunder N Lighting can let you experience 3G's at 60mph - at 90 feet in the air! Why not!

Love to make a SPLASH in a theme park? Lake Compounce has that covered for you too! You can float along the lazy river, or enjoy a fun family raft adventure on Mammoth Falls. That's always fun before you enjoy a little friendly competition on the Riptide Racer, where four racers go side by side to a twisting, screaming finale!

And of course, what would a theme park be without those classic kiddie and family rides. From the Caterpillar Train, to the 1898 antique carousel, bumper cars to the flying elephants, Lake Compoune really is for the whole family (we told you so!)

What's first, kids!?

ON Opening day my boyfriend and I went after reading on the lake compounce website that the last showing was at 11 and we could by tickets at the door. We also called the guest relations desk where you buy the tickets and were reassured that the information on the site was correct and it was. When we showed up at 10:30 at night after driving from MA for and hour and a half the parking attendants at the gate said that they were closed at 10. We went to find out what was going on at the guest relations desk and as we approached there was a group...Read More

We almost got spit on from someone on the top of the light tower slide. Guess there timing was off. Can you imagine, someone's bodily fluid, spit at that, falling in your face or in your hair. Then, instead of a staff member telling my son and I that they were closing at the 'croc pot', this young boy decided that he was going to sweep the dirt onto our feet instead. HOW DISRESPECTFUL. I was speechless.I try to remind myself not to think too much of myself, but I was with my son. MY SON. The message could not have been any clearer. I hope none...Read More

Lake Compounce is one of the best places I've ever been to!! The roller coasters are thrilling to be on, and the rides are just simply fun! My favorite roller coaster so far is the "Zoomerang!", and my favorite ride is the Bumper Cars. Their live shows are entertaining and fun to watch, and the employees are nice. The water parks there are also fun with their water cannons and are just awesome. The food in Lake Compounce is Delicious and awesome!!! And their free soft drinks just tops it off! This summer my family will be heading there, and it will...Read More

When we showed up at 10:30 at night after driving from MA for and hour and a half the parking attendants at the gate said that they were closed at 10. We went to find out what was going on at the guest relations desk and as we approached there was a group of five people waiting for an explanation with the same problem. We were then forced to wait for a manager and after almost an hour of waiting we were treated extremely poorly and offered nothing in return for our wasted time and inconvenience. We then contacted the supervisor in charge all weekend leaving message after message with no reply. We were told there was nothing they could do to make it up to us even though they were the ones who never posted the correct information online. What they do not realize is not only are they not making a sale or giving us and the others who also showed up an awful experience, they are taking money out of the hands of the foundation that the haunted graveyard donates there proceeds to. I would never go back to this place as long as lake compounce is hosting this event!

I hope none of my sons would ever do something like that. They would certainly bring shame to me and themselves. Yet, I will not cast a stone. No one is perfect. Unfortunately, between the spitting and the sweeping, the impression I got from Lake Compounce, not very welcoming. I can take a hint. Two insults in one day is more than enough. Disney, here we come!! Again.
