Where are we going today?

Did you know that Kidspace Children's Museum has nearly 3 1/2 acres of hands-on exhibits that kids can explore, play with, get creative with, and discover? That's a lot of playing to do!

This fun, safe and colorful museum has over 40 hands-on exhibits that kids can really immerse themselves in, as well as outdoor spaces and programs. All of these are designed specifically to encourage their development and growth through exploration of the environment, artistic expression and even investigation into science!

Each exhibit features something unique, so kids will be able to explore different themes that they love.

Kids can learn about the environment and natural world in the Greenhouse, filled with science activities and hands-on art projects. They can get up close to wormy wonders as they learn how these wriggly creatures enrich the soil, and they can even touch and examine them!

Digging Deeper offers a number of fun experiences, including uncovering plant and animal fossils to learn about past life form, or climbing 40ft up a tower for a birds eye view of the entire Kidspace Children's Museum!

Science is made fun in the Physics Forest where ball launchers, pulleys and bottle rockets are all part of the activities that they can enjoy! You never know - they might realize they are the key innovators of tomorrow!

From learning the rules of the road, to outdoor water features to play with and a fun Kids Corner, there really is so much to see and do for those inquisitive minds. What will YOU learn today!

Kidspace is a treasure chest for children. The Physics Forest and Imagination Workshop are great places to stimulate your child's curiosity and problem-solving skills. There are several areas, including an enclosed room for early crawlers.

Every day, there is music time and reading time. And depending on who is readying the books might be in English, Spanish, and occasionally French.

The staff is super friendly and always ready to help or make suggestions.

For a child to really enjoy this place, they should be at least four. Any younger, and you're better off going to a park (for free). But kids four and up will have a blast, especially if they're into bugs and nature. Make sure you bring a change of clothes because they'll probably get wet.

Me and my kid loved it. I had to finally just take him out of the Museum because he didn't want to leave. It was a day well spent. All of the kids there seemed to be having a great time. Would definitely go again.

If you are looking for the 'perfect gift' for a parent with a child over the age of 1 who lives near Pasadena, consider giving them a 6 month membership. This is the only gift I buy for parents of small children.
